Stopped in with my wife and friends at Glen’s Dinette in Babylon. We were greeted warmly and served quickly — classic diner hospitality. My crew kept it simple with eggs, potatoes, and toast, while I went all in on The Idaho. Savory, cheesy, and filling, with marble rye toast that was perfectly toasted and buttered. A dish that delivers. The space feels like a 1960s diner with modern touches. Prices are fair, service was friendly and attentive with refills offered more than once. For me, it’s a strong 4 stars. To give it 5, I’d want to try more of their standout dishes — like the banana blueberry pancakes that caught my eye. If those live up to the hype, my rating could climb. For now, when I’m in Babylon and want breakfast, Glen’s is my spot.

My boyfriend and I decided to get breakfast early Saturday morning which I thought would be a terrible idea. To my lovely surprise, there was seating for us at the bar. I also thought the service would be slow, but it was quite the opposite. The wait staff was super attentive and even made accommodations without issue. Also, the decor is 50s themed and feels like a blast from the past. After we enjoyed our delicious dishes, we walked out and saw a huge line waiting at the door. Safe to say we came at the perfect time but clearly this is one of the most popular breakfast spots in town!

Their food is awesome! I had banana pecan French toast!! Soo good! The place is small has counter seating too. We like to go once a month and hang. The food is good and the service is on top of it! Realize on a weekend you may wait. Which makes it a very busy feel.

Glen’s Dinette is a fantastic spot for breakfast, my family and I recently had an excellent experience there. From the moment we walked in, the service was top notch & our waitress was helpful, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fresh and delicious. A few standout items were the Crab cake Benedict and the corned beef hash. Both were cooked just right. I highly recommend Glen’s Dinette to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast in a welcoming atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind, they are a cash only restaurant, so plan accordingly!

Cute old fashioned quaint Glen’s Dinette in Babylon NY has the real deal for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Sit at a table inside or out or at the counter. Jennifer is a charming and fine waitress. Prices are fair. Do have quarters for meter parking near by. Do check hours.

I was traveling with a coworker the other day and we stopped in at Glen’s for lunch. It was 12 noon and the place was packed which to me, is a sign of a great place to eat. We opted to sit at the counter so we wouldn’t have to wait for a table due to our limited time to stop. Chrissy (Hope I spelled it right, forgive me if I didn’t) waited on us and despite the hustle of the lunch rush was very friendly, courteous and right on point with her suggestion of the meatloaf special. The atmosphere at Glen’s has a hometown, nostalgic feel with lots of memorabilia to look at while you wait for your food. The chalkboard and sign above the refrigerated case behind the counter really nails the feeling of this new found foodie gem in my opinion. Prices are average, food was excellent for my first time there but have no reason to believe it wouldn’t be on my next visit and there will be plenty more visits in the future. Be nice or go home and Life is short, eat the Bacon says it all.
