Tried Googly's for the first time ever yesterday. It was so good. Great specials. Wings really hit the spot. Recommend!
Went to Googly’s on Staples in Corpus. Very nice new location with lots of parking and seating. I had the Chicken Fried Steak. It came with buttered corn, a small loaf of tasty bread, mashed potatoes smothered in white gravy. The steak was lightly breaded and easy to cut with a table knife. Good food. My wife had a California Burger that included a slice of avocado. She enjoyed her thin cut onion rings and the small bowl of coleslaw she asked for instead of the French fries that usually comes with the burger. As a new location, the afternoon crowd was sparse. But with breakfast being served until 2:00, I would expect the crowds to grow. Well worth a visit next time you are in the area.
This was my first time to this place ever. I enjoyed the atmosphere & the food was nice & hot just the way I like it. We got meatballs w/ cheese & sauce as a appetizer. My meal was the mushroom philly cheese steak sandwich w/ onion rings & fries. Go check it out & try it if you haven't already.
The food was really good. We really liked the place.
They no longer have anchovies so I had to order second choice. They made me a hamburger and onion pizza. It was alright but crust was a little tough. Social distance and face masks were all being enforced.
I have been to the other location off Staples before, but definitely prefer this one because of the homey vibe, and the privacy. We hd the XL special with wings, and fried pickles as an appetizer. It was so good. We got full, fast. It was really good. Thanks, guy's!
Came in today and got the Philly cheese steak and my bf got the buffalo chicken sandwich. PURE EPIC TASTY-NESS! very quick service w friendly staff that answered all my many questions about their huge menu. Everything is made fresh and nothing comes frozen. All hand-breaded. Highly recommend. Very clean and very satisfying.
