Went to explore the San Marco area in Jacksonville with my partner. As my partner is an avid lover of chicken wings, I was encouraged by him to find a great chicken wing place, and we ended up locating this bar, and it was such a great gem to find. I would highly recommend Cheyenne, as she was our waitress. She gave us great recommendations, and she gave us a great time - we even got to see our college win and join as part of the Final Four! If you come here for the first time, I would definitely say go for the Gold Rush and the Dynamite - they are amazing and so delicious to enjoy!
A nice sports bar offering a good dining experience with good prices. The service was excellent. The servers provide you with a large sized menu and don't require you to scan it off the table. Always a plus in my mind. They also ensured you were promptly taken care of and worked with you when you needed more time! The food was delicious, so why a 4 on the food? Well, it has plenty of ingredients and all was fresh. However, my salad base lettuce was iceberg and not mixed with kale, romaine, or spinach that I am used to. There was lots of bacon and grilled chicken on the salad, adding to the delicious flavor. I liked the astetics of the place. It was appealing. I was a little cold, but since I am not from the area, I guess it is what the locals desire. When dining around Jacksonville, it is hard to find a place to park, and Hurricane Grill and Wings has a decent sized parking lot. I'm sure if you stop here for food, drink or to watch sports you will enjoy the time you spend doing just that.
Lashawnda and beam were so sweet and attentive. We had an amazing experience here and will 100% be back. Wings were amazing, mozzarella sticks very good, and the fried shrimp was good too. Overall great time and highly recommend. Great happy hour deals too!
Loved my entire experience here. Lashawnda and Beam were absolutely delightful and so awesome. Just moved in the area and will definitely be making this a regular spot.
Nice chill spot. Our food came out fresh.. it wasn't alot of sauce on wings but the appetizers were great
I give praise when it is due!! It started with a greeting and smile from the nicest hostess I’ve ever had. Then an immediate greeting by our waitress, who made sure when I ordered extra done wings, they were cooked accordingly. They came out perfect and were the best wings I have eaten. We were also greeted by the general manager which was a great touch to already great service! My first experience, but there will definitely be many more to come!! Highly recommend!!
I stepped into this place because every other place was crowded and noisy. Tateum, my server, sat across from me and carefully answered my questions. She was busy, but acted like she had all the time in the world. My burger and Caesar salad were excellent. The place was busy but had a laid back ambiance. Excellent service, terrific food, and a large selection of food and drinks makes this an ideal venue for me between crazy travel days. I will definitely be back!
Ordered on doordash previously and decided to try it out in person after seeing the food was considerably cheaper in person. -- Came to here on a Sunday during the Jags home game and yeah, it was packed. Totally expected that, but honestly, the service was still super quick and on point. Our server was awesome. You could tell they were juggling a ton of tables and still managing to keep everything running smoothly. The 99 cent wings on Sundays are a great deal and definitely a reason to come by, but don’t just stick to the wings. The menu has a lot of good stuff and the cocktails are solid too. Definitely recommend grabbing a drink while you wait on food, or even try an appetizer. Sometimes the food might feel like it’s taking a little longer, but honestly, that’s probably just you being hangry (guilty). Everyone also seems to pack in at once, right when the game is about to start. In reality, it’s never that bad, especially with a drink in hand. And when the food hits the table? Totally worth the wait, everything we had was delicious. Maybe next time I dine here, the jags will win. All in all, it's definitely a busy spot on the weekends but the staff keeps it moving and keeps the energy up.
I'm a big fan of nice size wings. Hurricane Grill delivered. The wing size is not huge but a nice size worth eating. Also had their buffalo chicken dip which was good, not as spicy as you would assume. And their fries, in my opinion, are perfect. Their fries are fried crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside. If you like your fries to crunch all the way through, this might not be your spot. And they have big TVs plastered everywhere. They DO have NFL Sunday Ticket....I asked to confirm before leaving.
Good food and great atmosphere but the last two times I have went we waited almost 45 minutes for less than 20 wings. Wasn’t really busy either time.
