Service was fast and our waitress was kind and polite. The food was amazing! Their chicken and dumplings were delicious and their chocolate cake is absolutely amazing. I would come back to flushing just to eat here.
Food was so good and I love the staff Gluten free and vegetarian options included. Went out for Valentine's day and even then the food wait wasn't bad at all (although they were pretty booked because of the holiday). Cozy atmosphere, great place for date night!
Mary Anna is an amazing server and just a wonderful person to share some time with as she brings the wonderful drinks and food. If you get lucky and grab a bar stool, order up and enjoy a great meal. Meatloaf is the best ever. Now, dessert. Madison (the owner) is another delightful person. Her passion shines through. Went back for Prime Rib and it was amazing. Give this place a shot, it’s a throwback to great food at a reasonable price. Treated like family from the opening minute. Can’t wait to to come back.
This was my first visit to Kathy's after hearing great things. I was looking for a quiet and classy place to bring a lovely lady for a date. On a whim, I decided to call ahead and see if their event space upstairs was booked that evening. Although it was strange request, the gracious bartender, Marianna, agreed to let me rent the space for a quiet dinner with my lady. Although she had a busy evening in the main restaurant (including a 14 top near the bar), she had our drinks, apps, and main course up to the event room without any delay, and made a point to ensure we were not forgotten throughout the evening. The Balsamic Brussel sprouts app did not dissapoint, my steak was a perfect rare, and my date loved the raspberry sauce on her Key West Salmon. This place has it all, and we will certainly be back to experience it all again! Thank you Marianna!!
This restaurant is right in town Flushing. Nicely decorated. I would say more adult dining or a date night atmosphere. The food is a little more upscale menu. We had fast and friendly service. We started out with the sea cuterie board. Delicious 2 house salads raspberry vinegrett and ranch. Spaghetti dinner and the country fried ribeye. Highly recommend for a date night
Food & service was phenomenal!!! I had the smothered chicken with chicken and dumplings soup & fries. My wife had the grilled chicken with chicken and dumplings soup & mashed potatoes. We drove over 50 miles to try your restaurant & every bite was worth every mile we drove. We will definitely be back!! Thank you so much!!
Loved the food and atmosphere here. I stay with my in laws in flushing and it was nice to get out and enjoy fresh air and dining with my pup on the patio!!
This is hands down my favorite restaurant in flushing. Everything we have had has been exceptional, and we've tried most of the menu. If you go in on a weekend, try the special, they're always amazing. Their homemade bread is amazing, the chicken dumpling soup, beer cheese soup, French onion soup, clam chowder and minestrone soup are all spot on. It would be hard for me to pick a favorite meal but the filet melts in your mouth and the smothered chicken is amazing as well. The sea cuterie board and crab cakes are really good also. This place has great food, and even better service. The front is a traditional fine dining feel and there's a cute little bar in the back with a more laid back intimate feel that I usually go to. If you're in the area, stop in, you won't be disappointed.
