The shrimp appetizer is delicious! This is the second time I've had it, and it was just as I remembered. The chimichurri butter is amazing, and not spicy - which I really appreciate. We also had the reuben, crab cake and parmesan fries. Everything tasted great, and we'll be back soon!

Such a lovely restaurant, I can't wait to go back. The menu changes seasonally and includes some great vegan or allergen-sensitive options (gluten-free). The service was great. Our server was attentive and courteous, and the kitchen had our food out quick and hot.

Can’t say enough good things about NPH, have eaten here twice now and each time was sensational. Great fresh food (burgers are amazing) the beer list is world class and the service is great. Will continue to frequent this establishment when we come up. Highly recommended!

The front of the house staff are so professional! Emma , Maddy and Charity were very accommodating! We decided to try the new place on the hill only to find that our reservation had been shortened from 7 people to 4 people and time changed to accommodate other patrons . So the rest of our party stayed and received less than satisfactory service , they sat for 50 mins with no drink . We are very pleased in our decision to venture down the hill and take our chances at publick house knowing far in advance that it was a long shot to even get a table on such short notice! However, they got us in seated , served and had delicious meals all before our other party members got a glass of water on the hill ! Keep killing it publick house , you are a well oiled machine !

Had their burger with the onion bacon jam - delicious! Server was wonderful. Really sweet old place. Big front windows. There's a bar area, a dining room, and an upstairs area though I didn't see that space. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the chairs we had in the dining room are in dire need of new foam and upholstery. I know the place is old but those chairs might actually be from when grandma was a kid. Lumpy AND saggy, so best bet is to position your tail end squarely on the frame itself. I will be back, its charming with great food, but I'll be sitting at the bar.

Excellent vegetarian/vegan options! My favorite food in the world is French onion soup, and since it’s typically made with beef stock, I can’t eat it! I was able to enjoy a delicious vegetarian version ( also available in vegan) and an even more delicious vegan meatloaf with mashed potatoes and onion gravy. My husband said the fish and chips were also stellar! We love it here!

We really enjoyed our lunch. The server was superior. The atmosphere was very quiet with soft music and quiet colors.
