Great place to eat. I've been going there for over 25 years. They have the best chicken cordon bleu sandwich in town. I'm not sure who was working last Wensday night I believe it was but I called to place an order 10 tell 9 and she didn't have one issue with it. She took the order like it was 6 in the evening . And it was over a 100 order. Ty for being so accommodating much appreciated. Great neighborhood restaurant.
This restaurant is amazing all around. The service and atmosphere are both welcoming. My wife and I did not regret dinning in on our anniversary. We got the chicken parmesan and its the best we have ever had! I love sauces and the ranch dressing is amazing as well. If you go already or hungry or hungry Lol! Not to worry. The servers bring out bread and water right away!
The food here is great! We had onion rings...very good, I had the cavitelli with Grazianos sausage, which I loved and my husband had a very good tenderloin. The service was great and a good homey atmosphere.
Place was pretty cute and homey and all employees we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The parking area was pretty small if you’re wanted to park on the paved area. The food was decent. The Potato Skins appetizer could have used a little more seasoning/flavor as it was a little bland. The Sausage Sandwich was a hit and the chicken and rice soup (not pictured) was pretty tasty. The French Dip was good, but for my personal taste it could have used a horseradish sauce or similar to elevate it just a little more. The fries were unsalted, which is a pet peeve of mine. They didn’t add much to the overall meal. I think we’ll try it again, soon. I’d like to try some of their pasta dishes which sound amazing.
Nothing fancy here just good food. Portions are ample and the wait staff is really good at what they do. Hot beef sandwich was like manna from heaven. Salads could use a little sprucing up, don't remember there being a lettuce shortage. Potato soup was a 10 as was my meal.
Great homemade food. Service is quick and friendly. This place is a must for homemade food. Sorry, I ate some before the pic. Smothered steak.
We have eaten here several times and we have always been happy with their delicious comfort food style dinners and their always friendly staff. This time I had their Tuscan chicken over a bed of seasoned rice and a side salad with their creamy parm dressing… it was some of the best chicken I have had in awhile and beat myself up for not taking any photos! It looked so good, I totally forgot. I did get a photo of the onion rings and ranch dressing that we always get for an appetizer and I highly recommend them for anyone that is an onion ring connoisseur. We usually get their steaks or meatloaf because they are always good but their hot beef and mashed potatoes are a favorite as well. I gave a 4 star for the atmosphere because the place is definitely dated but I also feel that it is part of the charm of this local favorite. All ages eat here and if you aren’t here by 5:00 pm… you are waiting for a table!
We stopped for lunch. The parking lot was almost full. Inside it was packed. We were told there would be a 15-20 minute wait unless we wanted to eat at the small mt bar. That was fine. Quick service. The food ( I had meatloaf, my wife had chicken parm) was great. Only knock was the bread was just slices of white bread and the salad was good but just plain lettuce and dressing. Pretty large portions. We took leftovers home for supper.
