Went here for my birthday dinner with my family and we had a wonderful meal/time. The portions are HUGE. Your table gets free pasta with dinner and it's a really big bowl! The service was good, the only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because we had to often find our waitress, she didn't check on us and I would say it's because it's a busy place but it's so small that it isn't hard to check on your tables. She was nice and the service was good just wish she would have checked on us a little more. Lastly the atmosphere is great, it's a nice small little restaurant, I expected it to be bigger but not an issue. If you have a party of 5 or more make sure to make a reservation so you can guarantee a table. Anyway food 5/5 service 4/5 atmosphere 5/5 ... We will def be eating here again...
A Rustic Gem with Unforgettable Seafood and Service! My dining experience at The Log Cabin Restaurant deserves every one of its five stars. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was captivating—it successfully blends rustic charm with a touch of elegance, making for a cozy yet sophisticated setting. Even the restrooms were spotless, which always speaks volumes about an establishment's commitment to cleanliness. Our afternoon started with incredibly generous complementary side dishes. We were first served a refreshing bowl of vegetables with a lovely four seasons dressing and garlic cream, followed by a large, comforting bowl of pasta topped with excellent tomato sauce and freshly baked crisp bread with butter. This impressive start really set the stage for the rest of the meal. For our main courses, the quality and quantity were truly excellent and generous. I highly recommend the Baked Scrod, which was perfectly prepared and flaky. We also ordered the twin lobster tails, which were succulent and served with a perfectly baked potato, plenty of melted butter, and sour cream. Everything was fresh, hot, and seasoned beautifully. Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Our hostess, Amy, was exceptionally helpful and displayed a wonderfully pleasant attitude, ensuring we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our visit. The Log Cabin Restaurant is an absolute must-try if you're looking for delicious seafood, generous portions, and a beautiful, unique dining environment. We will certainly be back!
I’ll start by saying I am a “live to eat” kind of guy and I can’t get enough of this place. The food is consistently tasty, portions are huge and the staff is super friendly! Big Fan …thanks for taking such good care of me today Amanda
It was my first time going there & I didn't know what to expect. The food was excellent & the waitstaff were very good as well. I was surprised at the portions....they served big portions so everyone had plenty of leftovers to take hone. I had baked scallops which I would definitely order again. My nephew had a fried seafood platter & took over 1/2 of it home. Even the kids portions were good sized. The steak dish looked amazing. My sister ordered a chicken dish & she raved about it. I definitely want to go back there & try something else!!
Pros: Massive portions of great food! The braised beef short ribs were delicious and the chicken parmesan was great! Very attentive and thoughtful staff, even with a packed house. Con: The place was packed full and the tables were fairly close together. Not sure if this is normal or just during the winter. Overall: Great food and great service.
This is one of the best seafood restaurants that I have ever been too. The food was absolutely delicious. Jenn was are waitress and she was excellent! This was me and my husband’s first time visiting but it won’t be our last! Absolutely amazing!
My mother is visiting me from England and I wanted to take her out for lunch. I have been told about The Log Cabin by others so thought we would give it a try, and I’m glad we did! From the moment we sat down we felt welcome, out waitress was so nice and helpful and the food was DELICIOUS! If you’re used to eating commercialized food then you won’t like it here. This tastes like nonna’s homemade food and you’ll go home with leftovers like you visited her too. We had eggplant parm and the steak with fries and it was cooked to perfection. The homemade salad dressing was to die for and the bowl of pasta they bring out with the bread was delicious too. You don’t get service like this anymore and I can’t wait to return!
Food is delicious. Portions are ridiculously huge but that’s what makes this place awesome! Every entree is shareable! This is the lobster ravioli with scallops and shrimp.
