Tien's Place Express Fresh Oriental & American Cuisine

Always appreciate this place anytime I’m in the mood for good asian inspired food. It is fresh and delicious. I’m always treated well. The wait time is reasonable like any restaurant 15-20 minutes. The Kung Pao, pot stickers and rum cake are a few of my favorites, so yummy!

Food was very good. Better than expected to be honest. Good value for the price. Atmosphere was cool, super nice staff. Absolutely coming back.

Undoubtedly, it is the best Chinese restaurant in Columbia Falls, Montana, and quite possibly the entire valley. With a great burger and friendly staff, you can always count on getting exactly what you ordered. Credit: Penmanship is also 5 stars

Coming from Chicago, I wouldn’t say I had the highest hopes finding good Asian food in Columbia Falls, MT but I was totally wrong! Tien’s was a lovely experience from the food quality to the service! Loved the assortment of included sauces as well. Between the dishes that I tried, I’d definitely recommend the Sesame chicken because it was AMAZING!

The combo meal came with a ton of items and lots of protein. Very flavorful and original taste. Friendly counter service from the young blonde lady as well. I would definitely recommend.

All of the staff members were very friendly. The fried rice, Kung Pao chicken (medium heat), and sesame chicken were all good, but the flavors were a little muted. It's very passable American style Chinese food, but not authentic. The dine-in experience was not ideal. You order at a counter then wait 45 minutes at a table. The food is served in styrofoam to-go boxes with plastic forks.

It was delicious but I think what I loved more is that when you eat here you learn so much about the owner and now you now feel like he is a long time friend. He tells a story with all the pictures and newspaper articles. It makes me happy he is living the American dream and has such and amazing success story. The staff was really friendly. And the food did not disappoint at all. We thought everything was reasonably priced.

Amazingly delicious Asian food in Columbia Falls! We came here every night while staying at Cedar Creek Lodge across the street. The ingredients are full of flavor and everything is made fresh to order. Grace and the rest of the staff are wonderful and dedicated and will accommodate dietary requests. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. I got to meet Tien himself and he is such an outstanding and kind individual. You can tell he really loves cooking for people and putting all his care into his kitchen and community. Please support small businesses who invest so much time and effort into serving everyone during these times.

Dinner here was very nice. Pictured here are sesame chicken, wonton soup, and combo (aka fried) rice. Everything was flavorful and fresh with good portions. I especially liked the wonton soup - I had never had it prepared that way but it was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall I was surprised to find a Chinese restaurant of this quality here in Montana.

Great spot for Asian food in c falls, very fresh ingredients and large portions! It is good takeout as well as dine in. They have one best in the flathead a number of times
