i typically get to-go orders which ranges from 8-15$ depending how much food/time of day it is, which isn’t terrible. i always get fresh noodles and meat from the grill and it is SO GOOD! definitely recommend anything from the grill!
I went to Seguin for an errand and stumbled upon this gem of a buffet. Compared to most San Antonio buffets, this one truly stands out. The sushi, crab, shrimp, dumplings, and everything else looked far better than what you typically find at other buffets. The staff was warm and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. What really sets this buffet apart is the fact that most of the chefs are Asian, which adds a layer of authenticity to the food. They are mentally preparing the dishes as they would for themselves, ensuring the flavors are rich and true to tradition. The psychological cultural connection when cooking is reflected in every bite, making the experience all the more genuine. Additionally, the buffet features a hibachi bar, where you can have fresh dishes cooked right in front of you. The seasoning of the food is spot on—nothing was overly salty, just perfectly balanced. When dining here, one is unlikely to season anything. The only downside, and it's a minor one, is that they didn't have steak knives, only butter knives.
You gotta check out this Chinese buffet! It's got sushi and a Mongolian grill too, and everything's amazing. The service is perfect – they're super friendly and always keep your drink topped off. And it's only $15 at lunch – can't beat that! You'll love it.
Always a great time at Grand Buffet. There is something for everyone here and the staff are friendly and attentive. Bring some tip money for the guys doing the sushi and Mongolian bowls in the back (not required, just nice). Also, restrooms and restaurant are clean. Prices can be a bit high, but it is worth it. They also do take out based on the weight of your food.
We had a great lunch. The sushi, crawfish, egg drop soup, and coconut shrimp were good. There were many dishes to choose from. Service was great. I love a good Asian buffet! Thank you to all your employees.
For my Saturday outing, I decided to drop into Seguin. This place is bigger than expected and the buffet was plentiful. The sushi was good, but a little on the small side. The garlic shrimp was quite flavorful and the water was cold.
Great place to eat. Good selection of foods. None seem to sit for too long on the buffet. Sometimes have crab legs, has sushi (very basic) and mongolian bbq. Never have had a drink run dry.
Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. After passing by for years, I finally gave Grand Buffet a try and was very pleasantly surprised. The inside is spacious, clean, and much more inviting than it appears from the outside. The buffet features a vast and flavorful selection of dishes, which was the definite highlight. My only criticism is the dessert bar; while the items were visually appealing, they unfortunately didn't deliver on taste. Overall, this is a solid 4-star experience that would easily be 5 stars if the desserts matched the quality of the rest of the meal.
