FANTASTIC!!⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Fresh food, clean, friendly staff, items always filled. This was the best buffet I’ve been to in PA. Chinese, Japanese, Hibachi and American foods and soups included the basic buffet staples, + other foods typically not served in buffets. Crab claws, larger cocktail shrimp, pineapple rice, a huge fresh sushi, rolls & sashimi bar that was being made on the spot and a variety of dumplings. I’m usually afraid to eat sushi from buffets and grocery stores, but their fish was sushi grade! Of course the desserts bar was a variety of cookies, pastries, and even flan. They also have a soft serve ice cream machine that got a thumbs up from my niece.
Very nice restaurant with buffet having Asian food mostly Chinese food. All kind of food available. Worth for the money especially in lunch time as the buffet price is less compared to dinner time. To go buffet is also available. Once entered, they take to the table based on the size of group. Asked for drinks such as coke/lemonade which is extra price along with buffet Price. We can just take water without any drink. Water is free. Need to mention "No Ice" for any drinks as by default they bring the drinks with ice. Buffet prices are different for kids depends on the age range. Once we get the drinks, we can go the food and take on our own. They have plates kept at each variety of food section. Food items are split into multiple sections based on the type of food such as chicken, meat, sushis, dessert etc. Some of the dishes are raw/semi cooked so better to read the lable or get assistance from the staff. They kept filling the food which was so nice. Fried food such as fried fish, French fries, fried potato etc in separate section. Sushis are placed in separate section. All the items were clearly labeled at higher level which can only read by grown-ups. Those labels can't be read by kids due to height. This makes adults to be with kids to help them and make decision to take the food or not. Chicken (orange or spicy) was so hard to chew. Seemed not good. Fish tasted so good. All kind of sea food available which were tasted good. The dishes which we can't taste outside also available here. Desserts tasted nice. Ice cream machine was self usable. Kids love to have this on their own. Chocolate, Vanilla, and twisted ice cream varieties only available. Cookies were there and if we want, we can buy each cookie for ¢50. They have live kitchen named as hibachi. Here we can choose the items and have the dish prepped which was a nice experience. Once we are done with the food, they will bring the check to us. We can pay from our table itself. Used plates or left over food can be left at our tables itself and get a new plate. They keep taking the used plates from the table which was a very good service. Spoons, forks, knifeswere available in the center. They give 1 kit per person and additional can be taken from there. Tissues also kept on our table itself which was nice. Overall our first experience was a great experience. Worth to visit and worth for the money. All age groups love this.
One of my favorite restaurants! Def recommend! The food nvr disappoints…The best Chinese restaurant I ever went to! Kind staff and awesome food!
I have been coming to the Regal Buffet for years since 2017 back when it used to be the Jumbo Buffet prior to the rebranding and the establishment has always been one of the better buffet options around. As others have stated it is at times a hit or miss consistency wise but when it’s good it’s an amazing experience. Prices have increased dramatically over the last 5 years to the point dining in for two costed us $55 prior to a tip for dinner on a Saturday evening. We continue going to Regal Buffet because of the large variety of food options available along with seafood that during this visit was consistently hot, fresh, and well stocked throughout the night. Servers and hostesses are always very polite and professional. Would absolutely love to see some new items added to the buffet although one dish I highly recommend if you enjoy seafood is the clams. Never in my life have I ever tasted clams as good as how they are prepared at Regal and they are always hot and cooked perfectly.
Don't get to Reading much. But this will definitely be the spot I make sure I stop.
Came in around dinner time.....there were tons of choices, and everything was fresh, hot and plentiful....there were lots of different sushi choices, and I tried many, and they were all good and fresh. Three adults with regular drinks and buffet, the bill was just a hair over $75, so $25 per person. Price was worth it I had many helpings of multiple items, and all were up to snuff. General Tsos chicken, lo mein, white rice, fried rice, chicken and broccoli, spare ribs, wings, garlic shrimp, fried shrimp, deserts, probably a dozen types of sushi, crab rangoons, etc(burp!)
An easy 5 star rating from a couple who LOVES buffets! We have tried numerous buffets between Lancaster to all the way to Philly, we both agree that this buffet has great quality and cleanliness with a pretty good price of $25/adult on a weekday dinner! Food stations: American Chinese (obv) American Fried foods MTO Hibachi Seafood (lobster claws, crawfish, blue crabs) Sushi - cooked and raw 4-5 types of soups 5-6 types of dim sum Salad/cold/raw bar Dessert Soft served ice cream Stand out stations; Sushi and hibachi station Honestly, all stations are really good, fresh and super super clean! They even have party rooms! Give them a try!! Give them a 5/5 rating people! (No pics, we ate it all….)
Excellent food with huge variety. Reasonable prices for what is available. It should be four and a half stars. Anxious to go back.Update…… I went back today and they are now serving lobster claws and blue crags. This place is a seafood lovers paradise with clams, mussels, four kinds or shrimp, fried filets, and all kinds of sushi. Enormous dessert choices too. And everything fresh and delicious. Five stars +++
