Lox bagel is deluxe! Excellent stop on a way to beautiful Kittery ME.
I see why this place always has cars parked outside. The bagels are delicious and their sandwiches, just as much. Ended up getting the lox bagel. Definitely swing by and grab some food. I'll definitely be back.
Ordered a Lox sandwich in a toasted everything bagel with a large coffee. Friendly staffers. Pricey was relatively reasonable <$14. The bagel itself was thin & OK but the bagel's inside was a bit mushy, as in somewhat undercooked. Need to spread the filling to the entire bagel instead of just the middle, which squeezed out upon eating. Only bagels or bagel sandwiches with some muffins & drinks, nothing else really.
Really yummy food just got a make my own sandwich they sell strawberry milk
It takes seemingly forever to get a bagel but that didn’t stop us from coming to this gem most mornings for a bagel sandwich during our stay in the area. The caboose itself is a super cute vibe and the bagels are solid. The egg dominates the sandwich but the combos are creative, fun and overall delish.
The food is awesome…… it doesn’t matter what you choose you will leave happy and full. The customer service is excellent, and they make you feel welcome. Give them a shot, you’ll be glad you did!
March 29, 2025. We drove up to Maine for a quick breakfast after seeing (nothing of) the sunrise eclipse from the coast of New Hampshire. They were open so early in the morning. A typical bagel place with a lot of options. I got: Everything bagel, swiss cheese, honey walnut cream cheese. No meat, eggs. Spinach, tomato, red onion, cucumbers, jalapeno, capers. The bagel was good. Good seating (better than NYC bagel places in terms of seating), nice wooden cabin-style interiors.
We stopped here on our way to Camden Maine. We truly enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches. It’s a very small place with some seating inside and some outside on the deck. We sat out on the deck as it was a very nice morning. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was tasty and fresh. The shop was clean inside. I recommend it to anyone who wants a quick sandwich, bagel or cup of coffee. Because it isn’t a large place I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a large group that needs to sit down but the 5 in our group were quite comfortable out on the deck. Check it out. You’ll be glad you did.
