Dave's Terrace Bakery

We’ve been getting cakes here for years and have always had great service. Today was no different, but I thought I’d note the quality and care they take this time around for our son’s birthday. They were super flexible, did a great job on the picture we brought in, and of course it was delicious! Highly recommend this place if you want a cake for a party. They never disappoint!

Your chocolate cupcakes with the butter cream frosting were awesome. Most icings are so sweet and your was not. Looking forward to try other items soon.

I wanted one of everything. Very beautiful cakes and I believe this buttercream icing is one of the best!

I love this place, favorite South Hills bakery! Their pierogi are incredible, and my favorite of the baked goods selection is the lady lock (but it's all great). The vibe in there is super cozy, old school neighborhood bakery, affordable. I recommend them to everyone.

Rating: 4.6 Stars Update 8/6/2021: My mom bought their Carrot Cake for my cousin's birthday, and this was my first time having it! It was fantastic. The icing was the perfect sweetness, and the cake itself was excellent. I highly recommend this Carrot Cake! Update 4/4/2021: My family ordered an Easter Paska Bread. It was light, airy, and tasted great. The raisins were nicely spaced and complimented the bread very well. This is a great bakery. My dad has been getting cupcakes from here for years, and I always enjoy them. I really enjoy their chocolate chip cookies as well. While I typically like warm, gooey chocolate cookies (e.g, Hot Box Cookies in St. Louis), this place has quite the unique chocolate chip cookie. When I was home for Christmas, I had to get a few because my dad was ordering cupcakes for a family member's birthday. Accordingly, I asked him to pick me up a few of the chocolate chip cookies. They were great! They had a unique taste, are quite crispy, and have a generous proportion of chocolate chips. Furthermore, you can't beat the price! Definitely give this bakery the business!

They did a great job with my son's cake for his baptism... beautiful and NO EXAGGERATION... Their cake is rediculously good. The icing was so light and yummy too, not that sickening sweet kind. I got half chocolate and half vanilla. I think it was buttercream icing. They were super helpful placing the order too.

Went into Dave’s for a last minute birthday cake. The staff were more than helpful, they were wonderful. I purchased a round chocolate cake with buttercream icing and wow was it delicious! The cake was moist and the frosting was light and not too sweet. Thank you ladies for helping me to make Paps birthday party successful! Will definitely be back.

Great little bakery with lots of selections. We discovered this place a couple months ago. They have a little bit of everything with baked goods from cakes to breads. We had them make cake for my sister in laws birthday and they knocked it outta the park for what we asked for. I haven't had any complaints about anything I've had here.
