Recoleta Argentine Bakery-Cafe

I had breakfast at this cafe today and it was a great experience overall. We ordered breakfast along with fresh orange juice. The juice was freshly squeezed and tasted delicious, just like the food. The man at the counter was very friendly and also spoke English, which was helpful. The decoration of the place is also lovely. The only downside was that the tables could have been a bit cleaner.

I discovered Recoleta bakery from "too good to go." For $4 we got about 8 pastries, while day old it was absolutely delicious. We ended up staying in to eat a few pastries. We got beef empanadas, which were warmed up and decent. They used the microwave to warm up, which I think would really make the empanadas amazing if it was toasted up in an air fryer, especially with its pastry shell. I got an Americano which was well made, and tasty, they use good quality coffee. The women who served us was super nice. In a case on the counter there were 2 cake slices, I had asked about it, she pointed to one and said "this one is fresh." I told her I will take a slice, she picks out the biggest piece for me without me asking. She was nice, warm and provided good service. The slice of marble pound cake was tasty. The decor was very comfortable. I saw someone order a breaded beef sandwich with fries, which I will definitely try next time

Awesome! Owner was very sweet and the food was by far the best I've had on my trip. The coffee is the best I've had in my life. The inside is gorgeous and welcoming, such a great sit and be comfortable down spot. Overall A+ thank you so much for a great start to my day.

This is by far one of my favorite coffee shops, not just in this area alone, but in Hudson county. The coffee is delicious. The food is always served with a friendly smile and the pastries are absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is calm, there's plenty of comfortable seating, if you're coming here to work with your laptop, you can always count on speedy WiFi and available plugs.

Fruit tart and Caramel Napoleon were the best desserts I've had around They also have the best empanadas in the area

I have been coming to la recoleta since their opening, every single experience has been superb! Excellent service and out of this world pastries! Lunch has also been great, yummy, abundant and priced right! Today, Gisele helped us select our breakfast and provide the outmost customer service! She reminded me to do a review, which i should have done long ago. Thank you, la recoleta for bringing "home" to Union City!

I am very grateful to Katy who was extremely attentive to all the details we asked for our wedding cake. The flavor was extremely delicious so much so that our guests were delighted with how beautiful and delicious it was. It is my favorite bakery from now on I have not found a place as perfect as this one.
