Buho’S Beach Bar & Restaurant

I was a bit discouraged by the Google rating, but the group wanted to eat here because of the proximity to the beach. The food turned out to be delicious and nicely presented. The dishes were large and filling. Prices are higher than in an average restaurant- but that’s because of the location and the beach. You could even sit barefoot with your feet in the sand. The staff were helpful and present- also very helpful later when getting a receipt for foreigners.

Fun beach vibes and good food! After spending a great day on the beach and catching the bikini contest, we stopped by Buho’s Beach Bar & Restaurant for some beers and dinner. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. The food was good – a bit pricey, but the service made it worth it. Just a heads-up: you’ll need cash, so be prepared. We had lots of great experiences at Buhos during our visit. The setting is incredible and the decor is charming. We had breakfast there daily as part of our stay at a nearby hotel; the coffee was good, and the morning staff was extremely attentive in accommodating my child's food allergy. We had lunch there once and the tacos were delicious, again with very attentive staff who still let us enjoy our table on the beach as long as we wanted. Several times we had cocktails at the beach bar in the afternoon, which were better than the next bar on the beach. There was a live band in the afternoon that was great. Prices are high in this area in general, but Buhos was comparable or a little less than its competitors on the beach. The staff was so friendly and attentive, it really made it a pleasant place to go, especially Eva, Carlos, and the afternoon beach bartender in the visor.

Me and my husband had a great time at this little beach club, the live music was very entertaining but not too loud, the food was amazing and very well portioned. the service was okay, it wasn’t bad but it would take a little bit till we were able to locate our server but overall a great experience.

We love Buhos and come here for years once a year. We met Victor the bartender who serve us frappe Mohitos. Also me met Julio Ocegueda a great photographer who shot lovely pics of me andy wife. Buhos the most iconic Bar in Isla.

Another great spot to just sit down and relax. Theres plenty of parking spots for your go-cart, and loads of random seating scattered across the beach that you don’t need to pay for. The service was kind of slow at the bar, but it was not a huge problem since we were just getting Mexican waters. Afterwards, we went back to our seats and enjoyed the nice sunset with the silhouettes of men with assault rifles. The true Mexican experience.
