Had the special of the day, some unique chicken tacos at the bar that were fabulous. Bartender made the recommendation, asked how we liked them, and gave a little story as to how they came up with the idea. Excellent food, excellent service. Bravo!
I see ALOT of hotel restaurants/bars in my career. This place is one of the best ones out there. I was THAT guy by mistake. I stumbled in after a long work day around 9:45pm and ordered a steak with out thinking the kitchen closes at 10pm. The chef stayed and made it to perfection. The bartender was wonderful and friendly definitely. 10outta10 for this place. I felt so bad and the whole crew was amazing here and made a long day a little better!
Nice relaxing atmosphere for travelers. Good, prompt service. I enjoyed the lamb chops. They were cooked perfectly and went well with the risotto and vegetables.
Sherry and Carla are awesome and will take great care of you. Saw them take care of several guests after the posted closing hours to make sure everyone was satisfied. We visit lots of hotels for hockey and they are by far the best barstaff we have run into in years If you come into the Doubletree Sherry and Carla will take care of you. Highly recommended.
I decided to try this restaurant as it was in the hotel and I wouldn't have to go out. I got the fillet mignon with whipped potatoes and asparagus. The fillet mignon was amazing. It was cooked just the way I liked it. The asparagus had a sauce drizzled on it, I'm assuming a balsamic type, and it just paired so well together. The potatoes were soft and flavorful. I also had a lava cake after everything and it was just the perfect thing to wrap it all up. The service was amazing and the place is very well kept. Would highly recommend.
My experience at this establishment was fantastic, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Andrea and Julie at the bar. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, taking care of us with genuine warmth and professionalism. Not only did they serve us promptly and accurately, but they also accommodated our request to stay a bit longer, making our visit truly memorable. Their attention to detail and friendly demeanor made us feel valued and welcomed. I highly recommend visiting this place and experiencing the outstanding service firsthand. Thank you, Andrea and Julie, for an amazing evening!
Food and drinks are great, service is even better. I have been in and out of this hotel long term for work and I've always felt very welcome and happy at this restaurant. Special thanks to Pam for being an extremely attentative server and a very friendly person to talk to.
We had a funeral today and used the hotel to host the repast. After the ceremony, we decided to have drinks and apps. First of all the hospitality was second to none. Pam made a killer Bloody Maria along with all the other specialized drink requests. We ordered wings, potato skins and flatbreads. Everything was served fresh and delicious. Definitely a great place to relax after a hard day.
