The blackened salmon Caesar is top notch and the bartenders are awesome
I stay at the Embassy Suites a lot but have only dined in twice. The first time they nailed my order, but today, they left half the toppings off my salad....which didn't leave much. I got a house salad with salmon, and they only put olives on it, no cheese, no tomato. Green olives and balsamic didn't really pair well together on their own. Would have been nice to have some other flavors balancing them out. A $24 salad should at least come with all the toppings it advertises. Also ordered a cup of soup. That was not great. The salmon on the salad was cooked well though, so I appreciate that!
Nice little spot on the 25th floor of the embassy with some great cocktails
The staff provided wonderful service under less than great conditions…more customers than predicted. The kitchen had issues keeping pace. Our server, Alan, was great and friendly. His colleague at the bar held her own. Thank you for a wonderful send off of our first cruise.
If you can grab a spot by a window, this place has beautiful views of downtown Pittsburgh. The chocolate cake was devine, and there is a cocktail menu with interesting options too. When I visited, service was slow due to lack of staff for the volume of customers, but the bartender who was working was attentive and doing her best to balance the abundance of customers. (It was right after a Steelers game).
Hotel bar with full bar and like 8 beer taps. They serve food but possibly not every day. They may not even be open every day as it was last stay but not stay a couple months prior. Always have food service. Be patient as the bartender is usually an all in one person, especially later I'm evening.
