Stopped in late afternoon during the week. Bar was full of people just getting done with work. Others were coming and going either sliding in the mint green vinyl booths, love it, or picking up orders to go. Everyone commented on how good the food was when they left. This place looks like it hasn't changed from the 60's. Which is a testament on how they care and take care if the place. These types of bars are harder and harder to find. A real neighborhood bar. Everyone knew everyone else except me. I chatted up a couple gentlemen next to me and someone else bought the bar a round and included me. I will stop by next time I'm in town and definitely eat. They even had Molson Canadian!! Double bonus. Bartender and customers all friendly and engaging.
Prop Burger was HUGE! Hubby loves the tater tots! Pulled Pork outstanding. My favorite, along with the coleslaw!
A very quaint small tavern / restaurant that I was extremely pleased to have tried. The waiter recommended the stacked ham sandwich which was excellent. Ordered onion rings that was like a double order anywhere else.
Haven't been there in over 15 years. Came with my family and had such a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, service top notch and friendly and the price was just right. We will be making this a regular stop for a family bite out.
Props never disappoints! Great bartenders...atmosphere..and food...just love it there!
The food was amazing. Our waitress was the sweetest little blonde who was so nice. I am non verbal, she took her time to make sure I had what I needed and wanted. The atmosphere will take you back in time . So cool. Very clean. We will be back for sure .
Service was super personable, they always are down to just have a conversation. Environment was lively. Food was delicious: they don't have a big menu, but what they do have is made to perfection with the love & care you only get at a local spot
A warm and inviting atmosphere is what we always have experienced there. The wait staff are attentive. The Ruben is to die for good!! The beer is ice cold. The owner is engaging and friendly to everyone. I will continue to stop here every time I visit my family in the area!
