Very busy restaurant in Somerset Ohio. The fried fish was good, the batter was crispy, maybe a little overdone. The fries were ok. The quesadilla was very good , the rice had a good taste. We will definitely be back sometime.
15 out of 10 recommend this awesome place! The food was absolutely delicious, we ordered spinach artichoke dip for an app and I couldn't stop eating it, it hit the spot! I ordered your basic fried fish with a side of fried brussel sprouts and mac and cheese for dinner and it was just delicious nothing basic about it, so so yummy! My date ordered the Dragon Style Ahi Tuna and I had a bite and it did not disappoint! It was executed very well! We were both clean platers! The drinks were very tasty and fun. I had the BlackBerry Bourbon Smash and it was so refreshing and tasty! My dates house marg was delicious and refreshing also! Our server Maraela was fantastic, she was upbeat, super nice, energetic, joked with me when I joked with her and was overall an awesome part of the great experience we had here. Y'all are doing a great job, keep it up! We will be back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Strong and Co has a very friendly atmosphere but like so many restaurants in Ohio they kept it too brightly lit during the dinner hour which makes it feel a little more like a cafeteria than cozy dinner outing. The salad we ordered was outstanding! It was the one with Chicken, feta, candied walnuts, red onions and a lemony garlic dressing. We loved it! The Lobster Alfredo was a bit bland in flavor and pasta a little overdone. Probably won’t order that again but there was quite a few menu options we still want to try! The positives definitely outweigh the negatives and we plan to go back when the weather is a little nicer so we can take the motorcycle!
Just went here for Valentine’s Day and it was A-MAZING! Best steak I’ve had in years and all their sauces and dressings are made in-house, meats are locally sourced also. Oddly enough the best coleslaw I’ve ever had too and I’m picky about that. - Food: We both ordered filet mignon which goes by current market prices, so ended up being $33 a piece for those. Worth every penny. Savory, sauce was perfect with just the right amount of tang, cooked exactly how we asked to perfection! They had our French onion soup and salad out to us super fast as well, and I enjoyed their homemade Italian dressing. Also tried one of their Valentine’s drinks and really enjoyed that as well. Dessert was just mid-grade and probably would go without it if we go back (we got the turtle cheesecake) but everything else was so good that we didn’t particularly care. - Service was fast and friendly despite being packed (there was a 45 minute wait). There’s only one skinny hallway leading in and out so definitely had that cramped feeling while people waited for their seats, so we opted to just wait in the car until our table was ready. Everything was clean. - Atmosphere was overall fairly nice once we were seated. Loud, but it *was* packed so that’s to be expected. Nice window seating options or you can sit at the bar. Overall I highly recommend that anyone who has been here and did not enjoy themselves to please go back and try again. Sometimes you catch places on an off-day. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back at some point!
Tucked on the corner of the town square (rotary) in Somerset, Ohio - I wish I lived closer because I’d be there every weekend for brunch and picking up their smoked wings for takeout all the time! Great cocktail service and home to the only ‘Pittsburgh Sandwich’ that comes close to the original with fries and coleslaw ON the sandwich. The service is wonderful and everyone is really happy there. A real pleasure to visit and amazing food off the beaten path. And, there’s covered patio seating during warm weather - no sun beating on you - just breezy fun and great food!
A great place to eat. My wife and I have been here a handful of times, tried several different things on the menu and everything has been outstanding. I went recently and got a picture of the Sunday brunch menu. I couldn’t find it anywhere so hopefully this helps if you decide to go on a Sunday at 11. Make sure to get there near or at 11 because it fills up fast.
We are temporarily staying in Buckeye Lake and got a good recommendation to check out the food here. Absolutely impressed with the food quality for this tiny little town. The chocolate martini was the best I have actually ever had. I'm 50, that says a lot. Also their pork nachos and homemade tortilla chips or fantastic! I'm gluten intolerant and they were good about making sure my food was safe.
Prime rib was a little pricey compaired to other places but food and drinks were excelent and service was wonderfull.
