This was a spot sorta right nextdoor to my office. It's always a great atmosphere. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the prices are fair. They have a pool table, as well as gambling machines. The best part is these machines and table are off in another room. So, it's family friendly, sitting right outside the entrance to Indian Head Lakes.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Saved the day and filled my stomach! I stopped in at this small, quiet bar and restaurant, and not only did they serve amazing food — they literally saved me from being locked out of my car. The French onion soup is hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had, and the sandwiches were just as impressive. The staff is friendly, down-to-earth, and genuinely care about their customers. The owner — a retired firefighter — ended up being the real hero of the night, helping me get back on the road. Talk about service that goes above and beyond! All in all, it’s a cozy spot with great food, great people, and a great story to tell. And hey, if you’re going to get stuck somewhere, a bar with food this good isn’t the worst place in the world!

Wonderful and sweet bartender and great cook! Extremely welcoming (especially the locals which is always a plus!), great hometown bar atmosphere. Burgers were great (my dog loved his! 10/10 barkworthy). Will definitely be stopping to play pool the next time i get to ricketts glen!
