Massive 10 oz juicy burger! I am a burger snob and this was great. No frills-type place. What more can you ask for?
We found this little place on Google while looking for the best burgers around and with it being Labor Day we weren't sure what would be open or not. This actually turned out to be some of the best burgers we've had in the area. The atmosphere was very relaxing and everyone was welcoming. Great food & great people.
We saw on a TicToc that TJ's had great burgers, so we had to try them! We ordered a shared appetizer of wings, mozzarella sticks, onion rings & loaded potato skins and we LOVED them! Super crispy wings, the skins had lots of gooey cheese with bacon and the onion rings were beer battered. Came with choice of ranch or blue cheese dressing for the wings, marinara for the cheese sticks and sour cream for the skins - and they weren't chintzy! Great shared appetizer! Hubby got a burger with shrooms and said it was really good. I got a bacon cheeseburger and mmmmm, juicy & filling. Son got a cheeseburger and loved it (he is picky). Service was great! Prices were good. Don't go expecting a pretty setting... this is a corner bar with seating for food. But if you want a good burger, try them!
Best place in the Sykesville/ Eldersburg area for a Burger. TJs is a close to authentic Carroll County as you'll get. Nothing fancy inside, just friendly service and really good burgers . Definitely heading back to try their other Menu items.
First time here, ordered burgers, fries, onion rings, and coleslaw to go. The food is excellent and the prices great for the area. We hung around the bar and had a couple drinks. Again good prices, the bartender was friendly and efficient. Great find! We'll be back!
Stopped for a couple cheeseburgers and fries to go. Wait staff was friendly, service was timely, good iced tea, burgers were good sized, and cooked perfectly to order. Most importantly, they got my wife's order spot-on, and if anyone will get a botched order, she'll be the one. Fries were crispy and good tasting. Definitely worth a repeat trip.
Stopped in to try the burgers everyone has been talking about. They were exceptional, great quality meat, and enjoyed the bun. The onion rings were homemade, probably the best I ever had. Grabbed a reuben as well, extremely good. The only thing I wish was different was the fries. If they had a boardwalk fresh sliced style fries as an option, it would really enhance the experience. Cannot say much for the fries they currently have, just to dry & freezer burnt. All in all, I recommend the burgers most definitely.
Good local food at a fair price with great service. Literally on the corner, can't miss it!
