Very friendly local food stop with great food!! Brisket quesadillas, boiled shrimp and pork sandwich were seasoned to perfection! Thank you.
Truckers must stop and eat. Parked truck at tiger truck stop and walked over. Ordered brisket with 2 sides. Fresh and tasty. Brisket was tender. Would stop again
If you're looking for a great place to stop while traveling through Louisiana, look no further. Stopped in there just before closing one night in early January, traveling from Florida to Arizona. My wife daughter and I were greeted happily. The food was outstanding!!!! We all got tons of food and a super reasonable price. We will definitely eat there again when we go back to Florida for vacation. If you're looking for really GREAT food at a better price and friendly people. Then you have to make the stop. And if you're local stop by and support your neighbors. The owner and her sons were great, thanks for staying open a little past closing to feed us. And the great story about the gators in the water behind the restaurant. Hope to see you soon!!
Brisket sandwich was very good with potato salad as the side ( I personally don’t like coleslaw, but I enjoyed it in the sandwich) They have a small seating area, with huge tables to order all the food you want, big fans on for the heat, and a radio playing music! I loved the whole atmosphere! And of course clean well kept bathrooms ! Was just passing through town, I would recommend. The family was so nice and welcoming I really recommend you come give it a try! Thank you, my family and I hope to visit again.
If you want something very creole food go there. They don’t have big menu but the food is wonderful . We were traveling from New Orleans to Houston and we were hungry and decided to go to a family place where to eat, and BUMMM we got it!
Amazing food made by amazing people! We tried the poboy sandwich and the brisket sandwich with rice… both amazing! Quality ingredients and well cooked. The staff was beyond nice, they were great! 100% recommend this little amazing place! Thank you for making amazing food for us!
Don’t question yourself. Just stop. Absolutely amazing food !! Friendly folks and great atmosphere.
I parked my truck at the Tiger truck stop and almost couldn’t find the place. The gps is slightly off. I’ll post a pic so you drivers can mosey on down there and get some great food. Rice dressing the shrimp and the rips are amazing! Locally owned business. Nicest people ever! I ate in and had a wonderful time and conversation with a couple of locals. So friendly. Truck drivers take a little walk and enjoy some great food and people!!!
