My Mom grew up in Dexter. This was her favorite sandwich. I still get down this way occasionally. The Pig sandwich is just as I remember it. They have done a lot of updating to the site since the early 70's.
I have been eating here, since 1990's and consider it quite the treat. I enjoy baroque sandwich, it's a mustard sauce so if that is not your thing ask for regular barbque... it tender and yummy. Good milkshakes and crinkle cut crispy fries.
I was served by a young lady who was very tall with pink hair. She was incredibly polite and helpful. She seems like an excellent employee! The food was good and seemed from scratch. The ice cream was also fantastic.
This place is about 40 miles out of our way and this is the second visit I've ever had. Both times have been nothing short of pig perfection. Food is just excellent. Prob a big part of why they are still doing it up after all these years in business. I believe it said est 1949 on the counter inside. Not hard to believe it either. Solid dining experience.
This is not your average burger joint. The burgers here are delicious and they don't skimp on your fries if you order a basket. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, and food doesn't take long to get to your table. Their ice cream is also phenomenal; everything is so fresh and wonderful!
Always good & fresh. Crinkle cut fries are the best. Great sweet tea. They catered my wedding reception 38yrs ago & the food is still great.
I placed a carry out order around 7pm tonight. They had it ready early and our pigs and fries were fantastic. Thanks for keeping things great.
The food is amazing. I always get either a lotta pig or lotta burger. I have eaten at Dexter Queen since childhood and am now 58. Every meal has been delicious. The service is friendly. I always order by phone and the food is always ready by the time they say it will be. My entire family loves Dexter Queen.
