This place hand down is awesome, food was great and there tea perfect. Price is the best and would beat all other restaurants. Keep Up the great Job Hendrix and don't change when others do.
We needed something to eat after the Polar Express, it was pouring and we were too soaked to go in…but they had a drive thru! With the nicest lady working who told us everything we needed to order. Food was great, apple bites can’t be missed, and we had a ball eating a great meal in the car. So happy to have found this little gem!

This place was amazing!! Absolutely no complaints. The food was delicious. The staff and waitress were awesome. First time here, and we loved it. I love Barbecue and Love trying new BBQ spots, and Hendrix Barbecue is definitely worth the 5 stars. We will definitely be returning soon!
This place is great!! I've driven by a dozen times and it's always crowded, so I decided to stop and have lunch. The food, service, prices and atmosphere were awesome. Had the BBQ plate, with sweet tea, definitely recommend you give it a try.....
This was exactly the diner we were looking for on our visit to NC from the UK last year. This is a true local eatery with authentic home cooked food. Our accents attracted attention, which was fine because everyone was so friendly, servers and other diners. It felt as if we were all friends. We had our lunch here and it was a great lunch. Big helpings and so flavoursome. For honest Southern hospitality Hendrix BBQ is a must!
Big portions, low prices, great food, fries so fresh they're served too hot to eat yet, unique old-timey atmosphere, and friendly and attentive staff. I'd give it 6 stars if Google would let me.
We LOVE Hendrix Barbecue in Spencer!! We do not eat at any other locations!! They are the ultimate Family restaurant. The food is good, service is great, and Kids eat FREE which is phenomenal!!! This place has fed our hungry family on many occasions when we were starving and struggling financially.. Thank you Hendrix
