If you want some great BBQ and a have a down home atmosphere, I highly recommend M&W. It's tucked in on a road and out of the way in Bonifay, Florida. Superb food. The "small salad " is everything but small. The loaded baked potato is amazing. The pulled pork on it is some of the best I have had. The wait staff is wonderful, friendly, and witty, made for a great meal and dining experience. Lots of parking available and lots of space inside to accommodate large groups . Treat yourself to some awesome down-home smokehouse BBQ. You will definitely enjoy it.
This is a great barbecue establishment. The ribs were great the sliced pork was great the barbecue sauce is exceedingly good. The wait staff was very good as well. Four of us ate very well for 75.80 which included their loaded pork rinds as an appetizer. It's a barbecue place that most of the locals eat at because they know where to get great food. They have bench seating like picnic tables and regular chairs and tables as well. One wouldn't consider it fancy put the atmosphere was great as you would be expecting at a wonderful local barbecue joint. I would highly recommend it for barbecue lovers. They have steak but I believe it's only on Thursday nights but I've had it as well about 8 months ago and enjoyed it thoroughly. There's smoke chicken also is some of the best I've ever eaten. The waitress was highly attentive but not overly so. It was a wonderful experience overall.
Everything was 5 Stars! The food was amazing! Portion size was enough for 2 and the price is unbelievably reasonable! I am a suckered for fresh pork rinds and the loaded pork rinds were outstanding!
I ate a late lunch outside. The weather was nice and I had my dog with me. The burger was great! The fries were good. I would have liked more, but they were enough. Sweet tea was good. Nice location.
What a great find this place was after visiting the nearby springs!! Seemingly, a "locals hot spot", the server knew almost every guest there. As we were leaving, high school kids were pouring in before the Friday night football game. If you're from a small town, you know how cool these moments are. Definitely a place that makes you feel at home. Burger was phenomenal, as well as the pork/chicken plate. Baked beans, fried okra, coleslaw...absolutely everything was delish.
What an amazing place! Coming from another country we wanted to have some real food after a really long trip. M&W was the perfect choice for the whole family. The food was incredible!! Tasty and really fast! The environment was really inviting as well. Staff was friendly and lovely. Price is really fair and food serving portions are perfect! We will definitely be there again during our stay.
Good BBQ is like a hug for your taste buds, and the aroma is just as affectionate. I love the smell of BBQ! So we were driving north to Alabama and started to get hungry. We searched online for good restaurants out in the middle of nowhere where there are more critters than people, and found this highly rated BBQ restaurant. It was country friendly and finger licking good too! The pork rinds/skins were the best we ever tasted as were the collard greens and the ribs. What a great place. Q. What's a BBQ's favorite type of music? A. Anything with a "smokin'" beat!
Absolutely delicious food! Definitely my favorite place to eat. Their loaded pork rinds we're so good I couldn't stop eating. Everything is fresh and well made. You can definitely taste the love they put into making your food.
