I had stopped going to this place for a while,because they never opened on time. My mom was craving their ribs recently, and we were in the area. The young lady up front is not very pleasant, but the gentleman at the grill makes up for it. The ribs are always delicious, and he has a great sense of humor!!
Best BBQ in Miami, take it from a New Yorker who tried almost every spot in Miami
I live in south Florida and have yet to find a BBQ restaurant with good BBQ. I drive all the way to Miami for mama Lucy’s. The owners are the sweetest people and they have grown to love my face lol. Excited customer service and the food is awesome. I will never go anywhere else if i want ribs.
Went in for desert and a drink. The mango & pineapple drink gave my taste buds. They were partying with the first sip, and the peach cobbler took me back home. I travel from Homestead anytime for that peach cobbler. I can only imagine what the food tastes like.

I love the ribs… BUT, this is another level!! Simple no fancy, absolutly the BEST i ever try!!!
The restaurant doesn’t seem to be a sit-in restaurant but maybe it’s set up differently on the weekends. Either way we planned on getting the food to-go. Definitely get the full rack of ribs - best bang for your buck and it’s more than enough for a family of four. In total we purchased the full rack of ribs (with the bbq sauce) mac-n-cheese, potato salad, beans, and the peach cobbler. I highly recommend getting the side of beans with your ribs. It’s a perfect combo.
