I ordered a rib tip combo. It came with 3 sides. They were very generous on the ribs and I definitely got my money's worth. The price was not bad at all for the amount of food that I ordered. The ribs were very tasty and comparable to any good bbq spot around town. They could've been a bit more tender, but I was still very pleased.
Delicious food. The ribs were not melt in your mouth but they had a good flavor and soft enough. The BBQ sauce comes in 2 different flavors reg and spicy. The asthetic is old world pub. They sell a selection of ice cream. They have a vast menu on meats and sides. Really cute place overall. Friendly service. We got the rib dinner and split it and 2 small drinks and it was 32.00.
Buffalo Chicken wrap was excellent. Patty Melt is a 1/4 lb frozen patty on 2 pieces of white bread, 1 slice of American cheese and 3 slices of grilled onion. Felt like a kids meal. Been coming here for 20 years and the portions that were aren't the portions that are. Still have good food if you're hungry and worth a visit.
I I am definitely glad I I chose to come here for lunch Christmas Eve. I was looking at the food reviews, and they hold their value. I ordered the rib tips dinner with corn and cornbread. I tried the fish sandwich, and for dessert, I ordered a slice of peach cobbler. Rib tips were on point meaty, not burnt, tenderness just the right amount of sauce we're the meat not dry,but you can taste the smoke grill flavor.
I had the chicken gyro, it was good but nothing about it stood apart from others so that is why I gave it 4 stars out of 5. I love the atmosphere of this place, super cute and nostalgic. The service was great and it wasn't crowded. I would visit again if I am in the area.
Food was good but when I went to pay for order with debit card they are charging up charge of 3 percent on debit card which is illegal in Illinois. Questioned them but no manager or owner present to correct issue. Hope owners get issue resolved.
The wait staff was very friendly. It was pretty cold in there and unfortunately with a leaky roof and a couple areas it doesn't help the scenario. The food came out fresh and tasty
Love this place! The ambiance, music, food, the whole nine yards! Went again recently for lunch, enjoyed the full slab of mouthwatering ribs, corn, baked potato, and cornbread! I couldn't finish it, had to take a half slab home for later, it was just too much food! The music is so much fun and so entertaining, you want to sing along, but eat at the same time, so it's difficult! They offer specials on certain days which is nice, because they reduce the prices a little. We love going to eat here and have not been disappointed, and you won't be either!
