Smoke-N-Bonz Bbq

I’ve lived 8 minutes from here all my life and have never stopped in because of some of the reviews I had read.. I’m not sure if it’s new owners, staff or just Karen’s finding something to complain about but I had an amazing experience here and food was awesome! Everything was so hot I could barely eat it when it came out. Meat was very tender and juicy. Some good BBQ for a good price compared to most BBQ places around Monroe county. Don’t knock it till you try it I guess..

Eaten here twice. Will be back. It's as close to Memphis style BBQ that I have found around here. It's a very casual dinner. Staff knows the locals, and talk freely. But that's the charm. The decor is minimal. Pulled pork is good and tender, but could definitely use more time in the smoker. Brisket has the smoke but could be a little more tender. Turnip greens are spicy and not bitter. So it's a win! The fried green tomatoes are nothing fancy. Good but nothing fancy. Let's talk sauce. That's were the magic happened. Not too sweet, smoky, good spice. Pros: Friendly staff, good prices, great BBQ sauce, decent Brisket. Cons: Pulled pork needs more smoke, all the way in Vonore, Brisket is a little dry.

It is astonishing to me why this place is not running over with a wait list. The food is always fabulous. The service is amazing. We drive from Maryville to eat here. 5 stars plus

Just driving through the countryside looking for a lunch spot, we decided on barbecue and came upon Smoke-N-Bonz. Super friendly people and great service. The beef brisket was great particularly with the spicy and mild sauces which were my favorites. My partner had the pork and chicken platter. Portions were very generous, prices were reasonable. Good coleslaw which is tough to find. Potato salad was a winner as well.

Oooohhhhh so good!! Brisket, Pulled Pork, Prime Rib... Good home cooked and ample servings. Go there hungry.

Very good brisket, chicken was very flavorful, but it was chopped up like you might do pork. Not bad at all, just different. Very good okra and beans. Peanut butter pie is marvelous but very rich.

Loved this place. Patty served us and she was great. Making sure we had everything we needed without being over baring. The restaurant was clean inside and out. Now for the best part the food. I ordered the bbq brisket with Mac and cheese and a side salad. The side salad was pretty big and tasted like.......salad. mac and cheese was nice and creamy like velveta mac and cheese. The brisket was the best I've tasted and would love to go back here for it, even if I had to use the driver through. Key lime pie was for desert and that was good too. If you are in the area or passing through Tennessee you most stop here for some bbq.

You should definitely eat here!! You don't need to order an appetizer here, but the fried mushrooms were really good. Portion sizes are large! My pulled pork and chicken platter with Mac and cheese and sweet potato fries - everything was so good and I didn't come close to finishing it all. Hubby had the half rack, sliced brisket, fries, and baked beans - all just as good!
