Wood's Ribs & Fish

Tasty food. Portions are not as large as I've been told. Ordered catfish dinner, 2 sides. Apx 6-7 half quarters pieces of fillet catfish. Small portion of sweet potatoes and green beans (they were out of collards). Wait wasn't long. Food was tasty.

Place may look like a whole in a wall but the food is absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! I have to come here every time im in flint. Their rib tips are sooo good and their greens. Also love the oeach cobbler. Definitely recommend

I got the catfish dinner. It filled me up. It was cooked perfectly.. my sides were the fried and Mac n cheese. Fries were good. Just wish I had asked for salt and pepper for the Mac n cheese. Other than that it was really good. I do feel bad.. I usually like to tip.. used my debit card and thought I might get a prompt to tip and it didn't. Next time I promise I will double my tip because you have deserved it. We work out of Lansing and have jobs in Flint occasionally . Also came out quickly for it being noon.

This place by far has the best catfish this out of the Mississippi and also the perch is fantastic. We got the 12 piece catfish and 12 piece perch basket along with coleslaw and baked beans, The baked beans were delicious. Oh and also the fried okra. Very good portion. Sizes are great. Service is wonderful as well. Can't wait to go back!

My experience with the catfish and perch is always the best, now sometimes it depends on who's cooking it, but a good cook is a good cook. The jumbo shrimp is the bomb, once again it depends on the cook, but my experience has been delicious, I go often

I ordered catfish. They missed half my order but corrected it immediately and gave me a $10 discount! My fish is Delicious, fried and seasoned to Perfection! Woods has been a staple in our community since I was a kid and the food is still good!

Myself and family don't eat pork or bottom feeder fish so our experience with eating from a local black owned or "soul food" restaurant in this county is very limited. The sides here are pretty good though.

As always, my food was delicious. My rib tips were tender. My fish was seasoned and fried to perfection. The cabbage was amazing. The only thing that could have made my meal better, was some cornbread!!

Wood's food was great! The rib tip's we're kind of tough but the greens, candy yams, and the sauce was great! I have been there before in the past and the fish was pretty good also! I've had there banana pudding and it was good too! I would go back and order rib tip's again and hope that I can chew them. The waitress was a pretty nice young lady!

I love the rib tip bucket and make it a point to stop here when in Michigan. They also offer homemade peach cobbler that is absolutely delicious. This is a small family owned business that has been around in some capacity for most of my life.

Bucket of rib tips and mac n cheese tonight for dinner. Wow is all I can say!!! Loved the sauce and the mac n cheese was still steaming hot when we got home. Short wait time, and the guys working the counter were very nice! Definitely be back!
