I’m not from the area, so my friends and I took a trip to Port Jervis and ended up at Dad’s on New Year’s Eve. We Ubered over from our hotel and were immediately met with the kindest people. The bartender, bouncer, and bar staff were some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. There was tons of potluck food in the back, the drinks were very reasonably priced, the vibes were great, and the bartender was fantastic. Truly a perfect NYE atmosphere. After midnight, we tried to head back to our hotel, but getting an Uber was impossible. We called every cab company within a 20-mile radius and waited forever with no luck. After about an hour, two people from our group decided to walk back in the bitter cold and snow to get the car and come back for the rest of us. While I was waiting in the bar, worried sick, something amazing happened. Amy, one of the staff members, offered to drive us back herself! Not only did she drive my sister and me, but she also managed to pick up the two friends who had already started walking. She didn’t even want to take our money, but of course we insisted as a thank-you. By far one of the loveliest bars with the loveliest people. What an adventurous and heartwarming way to start the year!!! We will absolutely be back anytime we’re in town, from now until forever. Truly an amazing place!!!!
one of my favorite bars in the area! james and jasmine are so kind and the food is great! they also are open the latest!
Drove here to watch the Knicks game and was not disappointed. Friendly, $3.50 draft coors light, quite a treat.
Bartender who works Tuesdays Wednesday Saturday and Sundays is such a sweet honey doll. The other night he threw some trash bag out the bar(obnoxious women, wasn’t even hot) and he handled it in the most professional way! Cleanest bar in port by far! Love the atmosphere and people
Amazing place. Wonderful, friendly people. Will be back soon because you’re always home at dads
Bartenders never let an empty glass sit! garlic pizza! Great! stuff soft pretzels!
Nice little Dive Bar... An I say Dive Bar in a Good way!! Not many Good ones left! Unfortunately!! Service was Great Prices were reasonable An they served basic bar food... which is awesome too... they also have a Full Size Pool Table
I have the gout that's sensitive to corn products and alcohol. I enjoyed the stuffed soft pretzels with pepper jack cheese and a club soda with lime slice. Open mic was great Wednesday night 3/22/23.
