One of my favorite bars to just relax. No worries about girls asking for drinks. Now with the live stage, it's even better.
It's definitely one of TJ's best dive bar. It's a bit of a beaten path, but it's a cool place to chill, talk, make friends, and listen to some heavy metal and now and then some Spanish and English rock.
Awesome staff, great bear at unbeatable prices and 90% amazing music. The songs are picked by the patrons, so they arent all going to be winners, but still the best bar in TJ!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dragon Rojo Bar Review Dragon Rojo is a hidden gem! The ambiance is dark and mysterious, with a cool vampire vibe that makes the place feel unique and exciting. The music is very good — perfect mix to chill or dance, depending on the night. Prices are very reasonable, not expensive at all. Great spot to enjoy drinks in a moody, gothic atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out if you're into something different!
What can be said about Dragon Rojo? This venue is so much more than a bar. It has a soul. Dragon Rojo has quickly become a cultural icon of TJ. Everyone goes there to have a great time. They are by far my favorite location in TJ to dance/listen to a band/have a drink/hangout. They play a wide variety of music all of which is customer requested. The prices are reasonable and the drama is purposely low. The hours of operation are convenient and well attended. If I could go to only one place in Tijuana it would be Dragon, as the locals call it.
Pretty cool little rock & roll bar, came in had a 40oz Indio beer and sat down and listened to the good music. The bar even made a cameo in the film Born in East LA. Check it out if your ever in the area.
I got in my car and drove from LA just to finally see this place with my own eyes. It was their 11th year anniversary, Danny one of the owners recommended a hotel for me to stay for the two nights I was there and even offered to pick me up after o crossed the boarder!! They have 3 floors, 4 bars and huge stage with band after band after band and they are all awesome. Also two pool tables. I was welcomed with open arms, got a personal tour, made tons of friends and connections and I’m definitely coming back!! I had the time of my life!! Thank you DR and Thank you TJ 10/10
I simply love this place... Regal... Elegant.. Draconian..... simply gothic...4 levels of different sound available. At the Arch on Revolution....I guess the entrance to the Red Zone....pool tables2 very chill. Upper mezzanine overlooking the stagenocecahe abovestage nicedj boot. . Adequate restrooms simk for thehans and face. Beautiful mirror with the Santa Maria I'm her darkest attire.. appropriately I would say to leave an offering usually share my drink with her. The stage is perfect for a full gothic band complete with clawfoot tub. Portrait of the queen and of course the count overlooking.. nice high back baroque chairs and loveseats I'm mid mezzanine...classic bar booths on street level... Bench level catwalks by the poolsssstable... Lots of unique and we'll Gothic imagery on video... Impressivre collections office and media regalia by those of distinct order........ extremely secure. Go early in day if you want room to stretch. Otherwise it's a crowd pleaser seems to have regular gatherings of well the Goth community.. I like to consider myself .... Well in prayer when I dwell usually a comment by flame has et to be addressed....may i be the sound guy.. light guy position your looking for...please and thank you Johnnie wolf as Drako the Wolf Iglesia diAngeloz...
