Had out first trip out to Gasthaus Bar and Grill! The inside is small, but cozy and has a clean, sharp look to it. We had a cheese curds appetizer, the Big Jack burger with only one half pound patty rather than two, the burnt ends on brioche, and crispy tater tots. The patty was really high quality, the tots were good, and the Kramer’s cheese curds were great. The burnt ends were a little dry, but still tasty. It is a bit pricier than some of the other options in Watertown, and be prepared to pay extra if you want a side with your burger. Also, might be totally unrelated, but we felt a bit sick to our stomachs afterward. Overall? We had a fun night out at Gasthaus!
Food was delicious . The flies were out of control. Which was completely annoying.
Fun place! The bar was clean. Lots of menu options. I split the Mac Quesadilla with my wife...it was very good. There is plenty of room at the bar, plus tables and booths for dine-in. For those looking to hang out a little longer, they have a pool table and dart boards.
Absolutely LOVED Gasthaus! The atmosphere, customers, and bartender were GREAT. I had a quesadilla. It was beyond description. I could have literally drooled. I would go back in a heartbeat.
Good food. Kind staff. Touch of advice: if you advertise margaritas they should be handmade not a mix. IMHO. Tacos are so/so. Otherwise really enjoy.
We stopped here in a whim as we were driving through Watertown and I’m so glad we did! The service was excellent! Our waitress was very attentive and so sweet! The food was delicious! You could tell everything was homemade! I had the broasted chicken special and it was out of this world! The chicken was perfectly cooked! It was well seasoned, perfectly crisp, and moist! I’m still thinking about the chicken today
Standard bar fare, but doesn't disappoint. Really enjoy their Wings-day special. The Bang Bang sauce is a really banger in the mouth!
Came for take-out place was packed, people were friendly, bartenders awesome and the Friday fish fry is amazing!
