The food here is phenomenal! It's a bar so it is smoky, and sometimes there is a little wait time for your food.
I love John’s Frosted Mug in Forsyth, Missouri . It is a 40 year tradition of Great Family, Friends, Food, Drinks and Times. Produkt honoring US Armed Forces. The totem pole I recently made for John that now sits on the front porch says all this.
Only negative is smoking allowed, was craving one of their amazing pizzas, but pizza oven was down. Loved the food .
Holy cow i can't believe we had 2 dinners and 2 drinks each and my bill was only $28! The food was awesome as well as the service. It you're a non-smoker, you might not like it.
Didn't rat but saw pizza and it looked good. Had a group of 5 we just went for a couple of beers and conversation. The waitress was very friendly and always on top of our need for refills.
I know it may not be everyone's scene, but I love places like this. It's down-home, real and friendly. You know it's a good place when there's a lot of locals, and they all gather there to eat and hang out. The wings and potato skins were fantastic, and I need to get back there to have more soon! Our waitress was friendly and working her butt off, and the kitchen staff took great care of us and made sure the food was correct. Absolutely will be back, just wish I lived closer to go more often!
We are here on vacation. Usually when I stop in small towns, I normally do not receive great hospitality because of the color of my skin. I must say John's Frosted Mug was great. The food was great and the employees were excellent. Thank you for the great welcome, John. You have great people working for you.
