Fun spot to relax and party after a day of traveling. Was right by the hotel and easy to walk to. Would be a good spot for week night or weekend.

This place was super chill. All the bartenders were friendly and had actual conversations with you when they could, not just weird small talk, I really appreciate that traveling alone. Dark and cozy, friendly place. Drinks are fairly priced and the happy hour deals are super cheap for miami. Even the security guards here were nice, and chill. Favorite stop in town

Mama tried is one of the staples in downtown Miami. With their themed nights and their great selection of cocktails, this is somewhere you wanna go after long day of work before heading home. They also have a pool table for those who are looking to have a little match with locals. Highly recommend checking out.

Still one of my favorite bars in Downtown Miami. Good happy hour and the cocktails are amazing! They recently added new concoctions to the menu just in time for the busy holiday season. Make sure to check them out. Drinks are not watered down but always well-balanced and potent. My go-to is their Old Fashioned, of course, but I have a new favorite called Urban Cowboy. It's made with Maple Bacon Infused Maker's Mark, vanilla cinnamon syrup, bitters and cedar smoke. So good! I also recently tried the Red Flag made with Cazadores Blanco, lime, agave, strawberry-infused Aperol, and topped with bubbles. So refreshing and tasty. You cant go wrong with any of their cocktails. The mixologist knows what they're doing and as a matter of fact, this place has won several competitions during SOBEWFF. It gets packed late at night, especially Friday and Saturday so get there at a decent hour so you grab a table or space by the bar. Will keep coming back!

I didn’t try the food, but their specialty drinks are delicious. The service can vary depending on how busy it is, but the staff jumps in quickly if they see you waiting. The ambiance is great. It may be a small place, but it has a really good vibe and is perfect for a late night drink. Even though it was my first time here, I’ll definitely be coming back.

YALL. WHAT?! The new Mama Tried menu is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. The drinks are up to their original standard, but they're modern and absolutely delicious. I would absolutely recommend checking out the new menu, hang out for the vibes & and definitely get a cocktail from Dominique! She's an amazing bartender and took awesome care of us.

Love the vibes in here and djs! I stumbled upon this after a concert and it was a fun time. I came here on a solo trip and their espresso martini frozen drink was delicious. I only had 1 drink but their drink list looked delicious and fun! They have 1 pool table as well.

Mama Tried is such a cool, underrated spot in Downtown Miami. It has the perfect mix of retro charm and modern bar vibes dim lights, great music, and a super relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. The décor is fun and nostalgic, giving the place its own personality without feeling gimmicky. The drinks are affordable (which is rare in Miami!), well-made, and come out fast. The bartenders are friendly, the crowd is chill, and the whole place feels like that go-to bar you can always rely on for a good time without the Brickell chaos. Whether you want to dance, play some pool, or just hang out with friends, Mama Tried hits every single time. Definitely a must if you want a laid-back but lively night out.
