Limited sandwich menu BUT all are good ; esp. the pork tenderette. Plus very reasonable prices. We also recommend the sweet corn nuggets and chicken cordon blue nuggets.

Loved it. Definitely want to go back. Had the wings with a hot sauce (yowza!) and Thai chili (woot!). The bartender was great as well as the music and atmosphere. Recommend it!

The last time I was in this place was over 60 years ago. My grandparents would take my brothers and I there for a burger when we would spend a week on their nearby farm. Once we walked inside back then we only heard German being spoke. My brother told me it was open so I stopped in while driving through the area. Today, the place is bigger inside than it was years ago. I did not hear any German while there this time but the people were friendly and the burgers on semmel buns are as good as I remember. Cash only. ATM inside.

Discovered this place late summer of 2025, and I've loved it ever since! Located in an old stage coach stop, this saloon has a lot of charm. Large windows, big porches, and a little bit of history on every wall. Fried pickles were solid in all of the right ways, but the Morse (their pulled pork sandwich, topped with plenty of pickles, coleslaw, and sauce)... Screw Flavortown, take me back to Rhine Center so I can eat five to seven more of those. That first bite was phenomenal! I've also had the chicken tenders here, and their waffle fries are great, but I'd highly recommend going towards their appetizers, wings, and sandwiches if you're here. You can't go wrong with any of those! Best of what's here are the people! Jen is fantastic with running the place, and the bartenders are always friendly and ready to strike up a conversation. The locals who come in here are also a good bunch, have never encountered a bad vibe or group here. Loved stopping by, and I look forward to the next time I'm here!
