Dean and Sue, the owners, are terrific. The bar staff is still trying to keep up after 15 years of ownership. They are great as well, BTW. This place is the true Milwaukee corner bar. I am from the panhandle of Florida so I know about Fried Chicken. This place has an awesome fried CHICKEN PLATE. The difference is also how the atmosphere is. I can walk 1 block away and it is diff'rnt. GREAT PLACE WITH SMART PEOPLE. GREAT SERVICE
Got a few free pulltabs, an attentive fun server (Elisa), and solid fish fry and burger, can’t go wrong with that
I have been here 3 times now. Staff is friendly and the food is awesome. There cheeseburger is like an orgasam in your mouth. The Bloody Mary's are good
Hubby and I stumbled upon this little gem! The service was fantastic, the owner came out and introduced himself, made us laugh, we played pool and had one of the best burgers I ever had! Will be our go to spot for pool and food!
Amazing Bar, I’ve driven past many times and finally decided to stop in on Friday night. Dean was a wonderful host. Food was great, old fashions were delicious.
We came here for lunch this weekend before an event. Dean sat with us and chatted about where we were from, what we enjoyed about the area and told us how much he had always wanted to visit our region. When he learned we loved portillos, he made us his Italian Beef fresh, fast, and in under ten minutes to compare. Quintessential experience of neighborhood bar, with affordable, cold beer and excellent fried pub fare + sandwiches. If I am ever in the area again, I will 100% seek out Studz again.
Amazing staff. Dean the owner is awesome. The food is so good. Burgers, Rubens, all of it is the best. All I can say is if you haven't had food here go try it. It's so good. All of the food is cooked perfectly on any given day. And it's a great place cocktails with friends. I'm a customer for life.
I had the pleasure of being served by Elisa, she was super personable and kept my drinks full. Food was also fantastic, they have a great deal on Sundays for wings and shrimp.
