This is a small, very natural Rome caffe. Extremely good value for money, the caffe is unpretentious in its slightly eccentric fading Gothic theme, but the coffee is great. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a strong local clientele but are also understanding of foreign visitors. We had coffee here on three of the four mornings we stayed nearby and already by our second visit the lady owner remembered our order on our last visit. The croissants and pastries were good too. Places like this are to be treasured in the midst of the world stampede towards tourist-orientated offerings. Go there.
Spectacular! As a tourist it can be a little intimidating to try find a place for a double espresso or lunch, but the staff were absolutely remarkable! Everyone was kind and the food and coffee were top notch, at the time of writing this review, I paid €6.50 for their pasta and a double espresso! Great value and i’ll be back <3
What a highlight from our time in Rome! Gotico cafe has the most kind and welcoming staff; delicious coffee and pastries; at wonderful prices. Don’t pass up the hot chocolate, it’s truly delightful, rich and silky. Pricing here is wonderful, a good value compared with other places in the area. We will miss how it made us feel for a moment like a local Roman during our visit!
Came in starving, left full of delicious pasta and espresso and down less than €15 after paying for lunch and drinks for two. Absolutely divine. 5 stars.
The owner here is super nice! We’re the only tourists, and everyone else was local. The atmosphere is very chill and of course the cappuccino and latte was great! The owner’s dog is extremely cute and friendly!
Atmospheric cafe! This atmospheric cafe is a great spot for a coffee and snack. The prices are very reasonable - we paid just €1.50 for our cappuccino al tavolo. The service is really friendly - they are happy for you to relax and sit at their tables and they even have free Wifi!!
The best little spot for a quick breakfast that opens early morning. Great coffee and croissant at a very reasonable price.
Great coffee and variety of pastries !! Thank you so much highly recommended
