12 lanes, some with bumpers for the kids and those rolling things for the littler kids. Great food at very reasonable prices. The wait staff was hustling and very quick. Fred and his dog were cool. Got us all set up.
Ventured into this place on NYE and on Sunday, right before the high school league showed up. The hospitality shown here is a rarity these days. Yes, it's pretty tight but the oil patterns are better than your generic bowling alley's oil patterns. If you're more than a casual bowler and have your own stuff, your fancy bowling balls will come to life on these lanes. Even the food was real good. That's a total rarity in most places, too! I didn't sample any of the alcohol beverages in the bar since I no longer drink and had to do the driving. Overall the people running this establishment are, IMO, great. I'll make sure to drop on by if and when I'm back in MI from PA.
Place is great for bowling , kid friendly, and allows outside cake and ice cream. A staple here in Lexington Hgts I hope doesn't change except the owner is sarcastic ( no pun intended ), and I'm half blind so that goes hand in hand, right?! That's okay! The staff made up for the arrogance, and we all had a great time, and I paid the large bill. Call ahead of course and enjoy a small town restaurant, bar, games and of course bowling!
It's a little tight in here, but I really enjoy the atmosphere. On some summer evenings it can feel like you have the whole bowling alley to yourself. On other nights it's packed. The service here is great, though - kind and even willing to offer up some tips on bowling better and bowling ball choice for those who aren't regular players. Will bowl here often.
Had date night there and had so much fun! Had dinner which was very good and very reasonably priced. Played some pool and bowled a few games. Will be back!!
Great place to take your kids bowling. I took 7 of my grandkids and they loved it. The service and food was great! We had to wait about 30 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it!
Had a blast here this weekend! The people were so nice and outgoing. Like an old school bowling alley. Good drink prices. Good fried food, can’t beat it.
Looking at this place on Google Earth with my Dad. In 1959, he was a highschooler who would make $5 for setting pins for three practice games! He said he played on the Hirsch's Pizza Bowling Team! He said he had the best bowling night of his life here! (Although it used to be called Lake Shore Lanes) And during a tournment, he took third place and EACH member of the team got a $35 prize!
