Looking for a good breakfast/brunch because I am in the west island and stumble this place from people recommending this place from the internet. When I came, the place is already packed and I need to wait for like 7 minutes before getting seated. The atmosphere looks like a family dinner and it is loud, but we still able to talk and hear each other. There are a lot of menus to be offer and a lot of choices to be choose. Their mashes potato is really good and unique, haven’t seen a mashed potato like that in a breakfast/brunch restaurant so far. They also have donuts and this donut is also good. Because they said that it’s a homemade donut, once they are gone, they are not making it until the closing and you need to visit there the next day to get a particular donut flavour that you want.

The food was pretty good. Food was hot and the bacon cooked to perfection....and you get a lot of it. Amazing and intentive staff. Oh the most important part....thier homemade donuts.....delicious

Delicious large portions! The smashed potatoes are a must! There was a lineup on sunday morning but it the it moves well. When there’s a lineup be sure to go up and put your name down (the sign on the door has these instructions but sometimes it’s missed). When it is busy it can get a little loud. Also the menu is large so it takes a while to read through but there are a lot of tasty options. I’ll want to come back for sure!

Pretty nice place to get breakfast food. It was quite busy so we had to wait in line for a bit. Once we got in we were able to get our water and coffee quite quickly. Once we ordered the food came out after a bit of time. I had the eggs and the crepe with some bacon. It also had fruits and beans. The eggs were tasty like eggs should be. The mashed potatoes were also really good and well seasoned. The texture as well, was quite pleasant. The other parts of the meal were also quite satisfying. The crepe was also pretty tasty with jam and syrup. Overall a nice brunch to have on a Sunday. Thought might be a bit less busy on other days.

We went on a Saturday morning, and the place was packed. We waited in line for about 35 minutes, but it was worth it. The staff were super friendly and helpful the whole time. The coffee wasn’t great, but the prices are very reasonable. The real challenge is picking something from the menu, there are over 100 items! I’d suggest deciding what you want while you’re waiting in line to speed things up. We tried a few different dishes, and everything tasted good. Just know this isn’t a fancy brunch spot, it’s more of a no-frills place where you get solid food for a fair price. They also have a bunch of smoothies and juices. We tried a few, but they were just okay, more yogurt than actual fruit, so they didn’t really stand out. The washrooms were clean, which is always appreciated. It’s understandable that it gets crazy busy on weekends, but it would’ve been nice to at least be offered a glass of water, we had to ask a couple of times. There’s a free parking lot, and finding a spot wasn’t too hard. Just plan ahead and be ready to wait in line, especially on weekends. And it’s a family business and was told that the chef owns and runs the place, so support them!

Today was my first time here, and it was very good. We had Mikki for a server, who did her duties well. My wife had a veggie breakfast poutine and I had what I think was called two jacks(?), a plate loaded with meats, two eggs and potatoes. Both had ample amounts of food, and were delicious. The creton was also quite nice. The atmosphere is open and bright, the only downside of which is it gets a bit noisy. It got busier after we arrived, but there's enough space between the tables to be comfortable. At the end the server brought us a complimentary donut as she must have overheard us mention it was our first visit there, which was generous of them. Would we go again? Sure would. Do we recommend trying them out, we do. It's a bit more expensive than a cheap diner, and you get great value for your money.

I've been to many breakfast restaurants, (mainly franchises), but nothing beats the uniqueness of Amy's. Eggs were delicious, the waffle was great and the potatoes were fantastic. Mandy was conscious about our diet limitations, particularly if the meat was halal or not. The only thing that is halal here are the chicken breasts. She went out of her way to give great service. Overall, I was very satisfied with the breakfast, great ambiance, I will definitely come back here!
