This was our second time here. The food was great, the service was excellent, the prices are fair and I highly recommend. We had the smothered steak burrito and the Monte Cristo.

We were just looking for a quick simple breakfast as we got a late start on the day and Bowles Cafe was close by. I’m glad it was. They welcomed us in and when we asked for a booth we were told that none were available, but then the second host (actually I believe the servers covered the host role as well, which does add to their work, but also means that they have a better understanding of what is going on) said “actually we are T minus 30 seconds to a booth.” This light and service oriented interaction set a great tone. Since it was our first time we needed a minute with the menu and when my wife asked for our server Jesse’s recommendation he pointed out a few of the most popular items. He noted that the most popular was the Bowles Combo. Which makes sense, because it is about as free form as I have seen. We both went with it. The base is two eggs prepared any way and hash browns. I do have to note that even asking for extra crispy nearly burnt, they were closer to hash whites than browns. Fortunately everything else was much better. You then choose between pancakes, French Toast and Biscuits and Gravy and bacon, ham, link sausage or patty sausage. So we got pancakes and French Toast. Both were really good. I could almost eat the French Toast without syrup. It is a bit different because it is dusted with what I believe is crushed corn flakes. This seemed particularly nice in the first few bites, but I decided not really worth it in the end. I also did a half order of biscuits and gravy on the side, more from curiosity than hunger. The biscuit was very nice, light and collapsing in my mouth while standing up to the gravy on the plate. The gravy was not as impressive, but honestly I am not a huge gravy fan unless its flavor is really strong with sausage. Jesse was quick on refills and picking up on our desire to interact with him. He was just efficiency and politely taking care of us until we asked about him and then he was willing to take the time to talk with us. All and all, I will definitely return if we are in the area again. Actually we went back the next morning. Much busier, had a 10 minute wait, but excellent service again.

Late morning breakfast and the place was busy. We were able to find seats at the bar. Despite the crowds the service was speedy. The food was so delicious and there was so much! Definitely recommend this place!

Its a good lil breakfast spot. I have always been a liver and onion kinda girl, theirs isn't too bad at all, and I would order it every time I ever ordered from here. I switched it up recently and decided to try their Monte Cristo, and I was so disappointed idk what it was but the flavor was awful. I don't recommend the monte cristo. Service is ALWAYS great though. Great people. Kind people. Great prices. That's what keeps ya going back.

Got the French toast. Was delicious, looks like it could be breaded with corn flakes for that extra crunch. The eggs where ok and the hash browns or more like country fried potatoes. Be ready to wait when you come here the door is always opening with people coming and going.

Tried this little spot from a local recommendation. The staff was very warm, friendly, and welcoming. They cooked my steak and eggs to perfection, as ordered. Steak and eggs + coffee for right about $21. Left the cafe satisfied and full into the afternoon on my drive south.

My husband and I had breakfast at Bowles Cafe for the first time, and it was excellent. We ordered the Bowles breakfast combo, and everything came out perfectly. The crispy bacon was amazing, and the French toast was absolutely delicious. Our server was personable and fast, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be back.

We had an amazing brunch! We were strolling nearby and spotted a cute little cafe by chance. It was such a delightful surprise! It’s a typical cozy cafe with super friendly and efficient staff, so the service was top-notch. The food arrived promptly and was piping hot. We tried the house omelet and the steak sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. The green chili was a real standout, and the steak sandwich had a fantastic cut of steak. We’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great brunch spot!
