This was our first time here and everything was great! The food, the service. It is definitely bigger than it looks from the outside. We will be back.
The fish was cooked to perfection. Could have use a little more seasoning. But damn it was cooked perfectly!!! Macaroni salad... eh... and very reasonably priced. all in all I'd eat there again..i recommend the fish!!!
Stopped in for breakfast. Was pretty good. Nothing extraordinary but it was good! Nice clean place with pretty active atmosphere.
Lone Oak Little Castle Stopped by Lone Oak Little Castle today after not visiting for a while, and I’ll admit — I was pleasantly surprised. I had been hearing from several folks that it was still just as good as ever, and they were absolutely right. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. The dining area felt fresh, organized, and welcoming. There’s been a bit of an update to the décor and overall atmosphere — nothing that takes away from the history, but enough to brighten things up. The addition of TVs on the wall (whether it’s news or just something playing in the background) really changes the complexion of the restaurant — and for the better. It feels current, but still comfortably familiar. What hasn’t changed is what matters most. The food is still that good, honest, home-cooked style meal you expect when you walk in the door. It’s the kind of place where the tradition continues — good food, good people, and the kind of conversations you only get around a table with friends and family. If you’re looking for a place to feed the family and walk away satisfied, this is it. You’re going to get a solid meal, friendly service, and that sense of local history that’s hard to replicate. Some places change and lose what made them special. This isn’t one of them. The tradition at Lone Oak Little Castle continues — and I highly recommend it.
Good Southern food, nice people. Could use some musak or something. Excellent prices.
Little Castle has the best Western Omelette in Paducah KY as far as I know!! It is huge and delicious! Pancakes so good too! Service is great. Wait staff are on top of refills and fun to talk to. I highly recommend it!
The food was great! I ordered the chicken fingers dinner with slaw and macaroni salad along side fried mushrooms. Veet spacious and quite environment. Will be back!
Based on the reviews of others, this was a planned stop for my siblings and I. We originally were planning for breakfast but as usual we left town late. We arrived in Paducah after one and decided to try out the lunch specials. My brother chose the chicken fried steak. My sister had the chicken and dressing which came with two sides. She went traditional with mashed potatoes and green beans. The dressing was flavorful and the mashed potatoes were homemade. I had the catfish which came with two large, crispy filets, and hushpuppies and two sides. I chose the white beans and baked apples. The beans were delicious! I could have eaten a bowl with cornbread and been happy. The apples were spiced perfectly and were soft without being mushy. The hushpuppies were light and the corn added a hint of sweetness. I cannot say enough good things about the catfish. The fish was tender, the breading was light and crispy and the tartar sauce was a great compliment to the fish. If you are visiting Paducah and are looking for amazing home cooking at the best of prices, this is your spot!
