I looked for the hidden cameras—it’s THAT good. "I’m giving this place full credit. From the second I walked in, I was waiting for the catch because everything was so perfect I felt like I was being 'Punk’d.' I literally started looking for the cameras, but there’s no gimmick here—just pure excellence. The energy is a total natural atmosphere: family-oriented, great music, and a vibe that makes you want to stay all day. • The Service: The owner and the staff are incredibly welcoming and professional. • The Food: Absolute certified pancakes and waffles. The cooks clearly know what they’re doing because every bite was on point. If you’re looking for a spot that’s good to go with top-tier food and a soul, this is it. This isn't just a meal; it's an experience. 10/10 recommend!" #BreakfastGoals #FamilyOwned" Recommended Hashtags #CertifiedEats #WaffleLovers #PancakePerfection #HiddenGem #SupportLocal #FoodieFinds #GoodVibesOn

From the moment I called to make the reservation, the vibes were already vibing. The owner was super considerate and accommodating, and honestly made me feel like I made the right choice picking POW before I even got there. When my party and I arrived, we were seated right away and basically treated like brunch royalty the entire time. The owner even came over personally to wish me a Happy Birthday and surprised me with a bouquet of flowers. I’m not saying I felt famous… but I definitely felt a little famous. What I loved most was how much they cared about making sure everything was perfect. The service was top tier, the food was amazing, the drinks were strong enough to make you start complimenting strangers, and the atmosphere was just a whole vibe. And let’s talk about those conch fritter waffles… listen… whoever created those deserves a raise, a trophy, and possibly a holiday named after them because they were SO good. If you’re anywhere in the area—or even if you’re not—go. Just go. Come hungry, come thirsty, and thank me later.

This place is AWESOME!! Came in earlier today with my gf for a Valentine's Day Brunch. The food was 1000/10 and our server Jessica was great and attentive. The owner even came over and had a chat with us. She was very nice. We definitely will be back!! To the owner: If you're reading this, that sauce is AMAZING!! Thank you!

Stellar Review for POW Restaurant Today, my family and I had the pleasure of celebrating my mom's 55th birthday at POW Restaurant, and I can't say enough about our wonderful experience! We were a party of 10, with five children and five adults, and from the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. We were greeted politely and seated in the lounge area while our table was set up. The owner, Rene (I hope I spelled her name correctly), went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had adequate seating—her attention to detail made us feel special right from the start. Our server, Kay, was absolutely impeccable! The service was beyond compare, and she made sure our experience was nothing short of excellent. Now let’s talk about the food-oh my goodness, it was finger-licking good! It truly felt like the chefs and staff were pouring their hearts into every dish. We ordered a delightful spread that included catfish and grits, pancakes, birthday cake pancakes, lamb chops and potatoes, shrimp and grits, pow pow shrimp, fried shrimp, eggs, and more. Each bite touched my soul, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and flavor of everything we received. I genuinely encourage everyone to visit this location. Often, when dining at black-owned businesses, the service can fall short, but today was a refreshing reminder of what excellent service looks like. The attention we received from both the owner and our server was amazing, and it made our celebration even more memorable. I truly hope you have the same fantastic experience when you visit POW Restaurant. I will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you, POW Restaurant, for a beautiful day of celebration! Until next time

When I tell you this is the place. This is it folks. The food was AMAZING. Get the fried wings. You won't regret it. The strawberry shortcake waffles were bomb. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was high end and offered plenty of photo ops. We will be going back.

Considering I brought a large group, the service was great. We ordered the shrimp and grits, salmon and grits, chicken and waffles, flavored waffles and the lobster and conch waffle. Everyone was pleased! The food was exceptional. Kudos to the staff. Oh and the music was !!

Omg, let’s start by saying this place is a 10/10 from top to bottom! From the decor to the food to the drinks everything was absolutely amazing. The owner was so sweet and personable, and our waiter was amazing as well ,which made the experience even better. I went in on a Saturday morning and they had old school R&B playing, which is my favorite, so the vibes were already on point from the moment I walked in. I ordered the salmon croquettes with grits, eggs, and toast and it was chef’s kiss! So flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also got the lobster waffle was amazing ! And the mimosa? The regular one was hands down the best I’ve ever had. Fresh, perfectly balanced, and just right. I will definitely be returning and recommending this spot to everyone!

We visited POW Restaurant on February 8, 2026. Since there were about six of us, we had secured a reservation. Our table was ready approximately 10 minutes after our arrival, which was convenient, given the restaurant’s busy atmosphere. We asked to be seated towards the front of the restaurant, as the lounge area was a little loud for our taste. The staff were courteous, and we were even greeted by the owner at our table. The food portions were generous, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I had an omelette and salmon croquettes. While the omelette was good, the salmon croquettes good, but not quite what I had anticipated.
