Truly a hidden gem! I'm so excited to go here more often after discovering it day before yesterday! Ram was so polite and friendly and gave us very good suggestions! Suggestions for people considering: I'd suggest not looking at the menu but directly going to the place where they have food set up and ordering a bowl. A bowl costs less than $20 and you can get a combination of different dishes/meats in your bowl. They have pork, beef, fish and vegetable dishes and you can mix and match! I'd recommend the beef and pork, literally heavenly flavor and melts in your mouth! I didn't like the texture of the fish and found it tough to chew but I guess that's personal incompetence/ preference. Once you have your bowl, they will get you a huge plate of rice, celery sticks and lettuce with a spicy sauce and tamarind soup! It will fill both your stomach and heart up! Ah the soup is so simple but so perfect, perfectly warm, perfectly umami and light!! You'll definitely enjoy the meat if you like flavor! They had okra, bitter gourd, beans and bamboo and other vegetables i don't recall, we had the okra with something and it was yummy! Overall the food is not spicy, but has a lot of depth and feels similar to Indian food but tastes very different! Even writing the review now is making my mouth water! Mostly people take to-go boxes, but to get best value for your money and the best experience, sit there and have your meal! You won't regret it!!

I have wanted to try this place for several weeks now and did for lunch today. The place is very clean, bright, and with a very friendly staff. I ordered 2 noodle dishes (Singapore noodles and Chawfei kiew), the fish curry, and the tomyum soup for my family. The tomyum was wonderful with good spice and filled with flavor. It has been a long time since I had a tomyum I thought was this good. The noodle dishes were also wonderful filled with chicken and shrimp, some vegetables (but not too many) and light flavors without spiciness. The fish curry was very mild in flavor for the rich red color that I thought might be spicy, but it was not. There was a generous amount of fish. Portion size for all dishes was large. We had leftovers of the soup and noodles. I am a very adventurous eater and have eaten at several of the southside Asian restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I came in on a random fall Wednesday. I was the only person eating so my food came out quickly. I don't think my server spoke much English but food is a universal language. My waitress recommended their fried chicken wings, shrimp fried rice, tomyum soup, and either of the beef stir fries. Because Bermese food is similar to Indian, south Asian, and Thai food, I was excited to try the soup and the stir fry. The flavors are good, the food is hot and well seasoned for a white-person who likes spice. I would say my soup is spiced at a medium/hot and my stir fry is mild/medium so I added some chili flakes to it. The flavors are a little sweet, a little savory, a little spicy, and a little refreshing. Both dishes have fresh greens and some lemongrass for briteness. They served me a basmati rice that was cooked to perfection as well. The tables and floors are clean and organized. They have what appears to be a hot serving station in the front of house as well for quick to-go orders. Multiple people have come in within the last hour just to order from the stand. I think if I'm in a hurry, I will order from there next time.
