We’ve been meaning to try this cafe and now that we have, wish we’d done so sooner! Great diner vibe, and very friendly staff. Lots of menu items to choose from, and particularly impressed with the number of plant based items. The avo and toast with tofu scramble was delicious, and the veg hash with vegan sausage was amazing! Will be back many more times in future :)

The cafe was recommended by a friend… from the outside, you may not realize that there is a cafe in between the shops not related to food at all. It is a very retro cafe with decor in the 60’s vibe. Service was good & attentive. For a cafe, they had a huge menu Portions were huge, we enjoyed the meal tremendously. My hubby ordered the fish & chips, the fish was actually rock cod, something that is rarely used for fish & chips. It was very good, fish was fresh & firm, batter was light & crispy. He also had a clam chowder, it was loaded with clams. I ordered the stay afloat on a boat. If you happen to be in Campbell River, I highly recommend you check them out!
The atmosphere in this diner café is super sweet! The waitresses (especially Cheryl ) were very kind and chatty and the food was incredible! Really recommend the eggs Benedict and the omelette!
Rarely do I give a 5 of 5 but this restaurant totally understands who they are and they do it to perfection. It’s a perfect family diner with vibe of comfort ….super friendly good people waitresses ….excellent coffee and lots of it … food delicious and well fair prices. I totally recommend this restaurant! We had such a good breakfast.

If you ever find yourself in Campbell River, please visit this Cafe for some delicious tasting food. Don't judge by the exterior. I should add that I expected the skillet meal to come in one. Good portion size and attentive wait staff.
I love coming here so much I don't even want to write a review in case it gets busier! (J/k) in my opinion there are not a lot of great breaky spots in town. This one you can feel a little bit of Campbell River charm. It's the spot where the locals go! This old school diner has a big menu and always have famous milkshakes from those old machines! I usually get a regular breakfast or an omlette. Can't go wrong here! See u guys soon, thanks for working so hard! Plenty of parking and out of the downtown core. It is the IDEAL spot!
