Such a great atmosphere and vibes. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Was in the area for 2 days and went both mornings. Highly recommend the cowgirl breakfast bagel and the Americano.
Rustic Cosmo Cafe is a cute spot in Toronto’s southwest end. Took me a minute to figure out the door (it’s a push, not pull—LOL). Inside, it’s quaint and not too busy, which I liked. The lady at the counter was super sweet. I ordered the cowgirl bagel and a latte. The bagel was SO YUMMY—perfectly toasted with great portioning of the fillings. The latte was solid too. Definitely want to come back and try some of their sweet treats next time!
I got the vegan & cosmo bagel (a classic smoked salmon) and they were delicious. The bagels tasted fresh and I loved the cream cheese that came with the cosmo. The Vegan bagel just hit and the garlic aioli was a great touch, but would def add on some veggies next round. I enjoyed the matcha, it wasn’t anything crazy but a lot better compared to most spots where it’s mainly milk you’re drinking. A 3/5 for matcha grade. The homefries were a tad disappointing as some were cold/over cooked while others were warm/undercooked. I think we were served a set of fresh and old. unsure if I’d reorder the fries, but slay on the seasoning.
Been going here for years and the breakfast bagels always SLAP. My fav so far has been the peameal one (pictured). My friend who’s vegan often gets delish vegan sammies here too. Great local spot!
This café has a rustic and inviting atmosphere with an intriguing menus displayed on the wall. There were so many you didn’t know where to look. We only grabbed a coffee and turmeric tea to go, because the service wasn’t particularly friendly—maybe just an off day. We’ll be back to try the food and hopefully they’ll be nicer next time!
Ordered a breakfast wrap Nicole with a peanut butter brownie and ice tea before heading home on the train! Very good food and friendly staff! I rarely go to cafes but I really enjoyed the vibes of this one!
Great vibe if you are interested in places with character, vegan fare and Java. There are many items that are homemade, and the decor is definitely vintage with sensible stools. I had the pesto chicken, Asiago and spinach that was perfectly seasoned within a good portion of tasty home fries. My guest also had the raspberry chocolate cheesecake. Another fine rendition of wholesome baked goods for those in need of pampering. Drop Java is reasonable and customers are plenty at the lunch time crowd. Take out is the seemingly popular mode but the low row of seats will draw in the students. Love the cookies and Java hits the spot. There is a cooler for drinks, a freezer for Honey ice cream.
