Explorers Den

Surprisingly, solid place. My son attends Lasalle, so I stopped in for a Pizza. It was pretty good. Service was above average. It was very busy. My Pizza came out quickly. I found the prices to be very reasonable.

The staff was very kind to me upon my arrival. They actually opened a few minutes early for me. They asked where was I traveling from and seemed happy that I came there. The food always meet my expectations so that's why I continue to order cheesesteaks from there when I am in Philadelphia. Overall, great experience as always. Thank you.

Great place for fast food, I always order the chicken salad with no parm. They use real meat, not processed which is why I'll continue to eat there.

One of the best cheese steaks in Philly. Located near LaSalle University, this is a great spot for a generous cheese steak or pizza. The buffalo chicken cheese steak is killer. The shop is a bit of a dive but that's what makes it so great.

I remember going there years ago as a child. But of course like everything good it came to an end. But the good steaks are back. Just as pricey as the next steak shop. The place itself is little run down. Service was good, helpful and patient. There are no public restrooms which is for the future is a deal breaker. I couldn't relax at the place & eat. The on street parking can be a bit of an issue.

Dear LaSalle grads, please stop recommending explorers den. I am assuming you ate at Explorers Den after drinking and/or explorers Den has new owners. I am not a fan of this cheesesteak. It was under $10. I really can't think of anything else to say about this cheesesteak

No matter where I am in the world I ALWAYS wait to come back to Philly for an authentic cheesesteak. This place did not disappoint. Fast, friendly service and served hot. Thank you for indulging my nostalgia of my Philly childhood.
