Hunny Benny Chicken Plus (Aurora)

I am living in Aurora and have been getting fried chicken from Popeyes. I think I need to change for a better quality fried chicken. I searched under Google Maps and managed to find a few. Hunny Benny is very close to where I live. Why not give it a try?! It is a local shop not highly decorated. But the fried chicken tasted much better than Popeyes. The chicken was juicy. That's great! I would recommend it to anyone who would like to try quality food. I like the logo sticker on the bag!

It was my first time here, I saw all the good reviews and had to try it. This was hands down the best fried chicken I have ever had. Better than Dave’s hot chicken, better than Leguan which I drove 200 km to try. This spot is something special and whatever they’re doing with the chicken here is magic. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, hot, fresh, made to order. We had a tater tot (pompom) poutine, 2 piece meals, regular poms and a fried spicy sandwich. 2 combos and a sandwich for $25. Honestly my mind is blown, the value here for the quality and quantity of food is beyond generous. I already want to turn around, go back and order another sandwich! I’ll be back tomorrow for the Tuesday special. Thank you so much Hunny Benny for the good food! Try this place you will not regret it!

Literally the best fried chicken I've had in Toronto. If you're tired of large amount of too much salt and saggy dust on tiny pieces of chicken, and are missing the good old taste of fried chicken, you have to try this place. If only they had spicy flavour as well!

Best fried chicken and burger you can ever find in Aurora/Richmond Hill region.

My food from this location is consistently delicious. What distinguishes them from other chains and fast food places is their customer service. Today, I placed an order over Uber Eats. I received the wrong order and when I came in to grab my order personally, they were so apologetic. Their heat seemed to be broken on a very cold winter day, yet they’re working hard regardless. I just admire the way this business is conducted and you can’t deny the food is tasty! Thank you!

2022 December 4 4piece meal box, 1 side a and a pop $13.99 The chicken was still good, though not as juicy as last time I remembered. Probably because it wasn't freshly made (might have been in the heating rack for a bit). The sides remain very good. Waffle fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings still are very good. Apparently they are changing their name soon. "Chuck's chicken plus" seems too closely line Chuck's road house .. new name coming soon to be "Hunny Benny" Pricing remains fairly competitive. Good size pieces for the price. April 2022 4.5 You'll find this fried chicken fast food restaurant not like the usual chains out there. The chicken is crispy and nicely cooked, though certainly not as seasoned or salty as others, some will find that this is just right while others will want a deeper flavor. The option for sides are awesome. The sweet potato fries are crispy and not soggy after being fried. The pom poms, which are like small hash browns, are nice and crispy. The sides here are really a winner given the choices offered. The establishment itself seems ok. Though the tables are clean, the place feels a bit greasy. If your in the area and are looking for fried chicken, this is certainly worth a try.

This is the best fried chicken joint around! Ever want a lighter batter that's still crispy, but not soaked in grease? Well, this is the restaurant you're looking for; it used to be a Mary Brown's and their current batter is evolved from that. While not my personal preference, all their chicken, strips, burgers, sides... you name it, are all great and tasty. Definitely try their waffle fries if you can!

Got the spicy chicken sandwich with the waffle fries and mozza sticks. The food was great, by the time I ate it, it was still warm which is an extra bonus. I just feel like their mozza sticks should include some dip with it. Service was fast and very friendly. We were very needy with utensils and the lady didn’t get annoyed at all which is great. My friends and I will be coming again! Definitely recommend it to everyone to try!

This is a fast food style small restaurant , famous in Fried Chicken . They have a few tables for dine in. Their fried chicken is crispy outside, juicy and tender inside, very yummy ! My family love it very much ! I think it's much better than some of the chain stores. Service is very efficient and friendly.

Ordered two of the chicken burgers, large onion rings, and six piece fried chicken meal. It came to about $40+ after taxes. I must say the fried chicken is OK it taste like almost everywhere else but the burgers were to die for. Also they have some of the best onion rings in the GTA.

First time trying Chuck’s even though we live in the area. The chicken is really crispy and light, doesn’t leave a bunch of oil on your fingers. The pompoms and coleslaw was also really good. The onion rings were good, but nothing special. The spicy chicken sandwich was really delicious and very filling! Definitely would go back again!

Nice gesture from staff serving us free snacks while we waited for our orders. The fried chickens were quite good. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of extra crispy skin and I think it was under seasoned. Frankly, the fried skin of the KFC original fried chicken is tastier. However, the meat is much more tender, juicy and super moisted than any fried chicken that I could remember eating. I would come back for the juicy chicken and friendly service.
