They have the best catfish I've ever eaten, here in Chicago, other than catch and fry on the lake or at home. I buy the trays because hubby & I really enjoy this places catfish fillets. I don't do catfish steaks, and don"t eat chicken much, so I cannot remark on it. I'll catfish go beck, it's asee thru kitchen, so just because many would can this, a hole in the wall restaurant, take another look after your taste the food, before making any judgments. I stores by there when we first moved to Sauk Village and it smelled so good I had to try it. It was definitely worth my time. I've lived here for like 7 years now and I go there often. You'll love it.
If you want some great fried fish, then this is the place for you. Remember to as for lemon-pepper seasoning.
This was my first time at "Sharks Fish & Chicken." It's a local business. And they are all over town, so I figured it must be good. I'm used to chicken & waffle restaurants. And this concept was similar. The catfish I got was good. It was so good that I was eating the leftovers for several days afterward. And it was still good. Prices seemed high for something as basic as catfish and wings. But we did get a discount on our receipt. Although we don't know why. Catfish isn't everyone's cup of tea. But if you like catfish and/or wings. This place is worth a try.
It's delicious. Didn't taste like suburban fried food. Taste like sharks in the city. Yum. The staff is as friendly as it's probably gonna get for sharks. They do their job and get orders out.
I love this location better than others. Each time I come to town its a must I order a pan of chicken. Always fresh and good customer service.
Sharks chicken is great as long as you tell them that you want fresh chicken and don't order until you get to the location. They precook their chicken and then dip it back in the greese to get it hot again otherwise it is the best but ask about the specials because they won't just offer that information
Chicken was good and seasoned well. Food remained warm from pick up to arriving home. Would definitely purchase from Sharks again. In addition, stays open late.
Food is always good and fresh when I come. You have to try the honey bbq. It’s oh so good
