Loved both the stewed beef noodle soup and chicken cabbage dumplings! I ordered extra spicy beef noodle soup and it was one of the spiciest things I’ve had (drinking water doesn’t help Lol). Still was very good. For most people, its recommended to do the stewed beef noodle soup thats less spicy to enjoy the soup as well! Dumplings also is a great combo with the noodle soup. Would come again!

We went there for lunch and ordered beef soup noodles with spicy chicken. The noodle is very delicious and beef is so tender. The food is ready very quickly. The portion size is very large too. It is a in a huge bowl for one person. We had great experience overall. We will definitely go back.

The food is alright, but you'll never see these prices anywhere else. Like, not even six dollars for a 肉夹馍 (Crispy Burger)? Amazing! Was craving some cold noodles and also a 肉夹馍 (I got the pork), they taste pretty good. Also friendly staff, but this place may seem to give out more of a take out than dine-in vibe.

Good food, I enjoyed eating here. I didnt taste as much flavor compared to Xian Famous and the lamb burger was not as tender, but the noodles and burger were both enjoyable. Server was nice and the food came quickly. Very convenient location to grab some food before catching the amtrak out of penn station. Solid pick for food, will come back when im in the area and need something quick

I had noodles with lamb. The hand pulled noodles had nice texture, with very flavorful broth and meat. I had a plum drink which was delicious too. Very clean.

Food is decent. The menu and dish are very similar, almost same to Xi’an chain. For me, soup base is a little sweeter than Xi’an but spicier. The meat burger is filled and flavorful. The pull noodle is dente and cook just right. Location is perfect for those, like me, has a shot break before the train . Service is very punctual.

I have eaten my way across a good stretch of China, the real places, plastic stools, questionable plumbing, unforgettable meals. Xian always stuck with me. Big flavors. Garlic that announces itself. Chili heat that creeps up, taps you on the shoulder, then takes over the room. So when I say I went back to Bites of Xian a second time, that is not an accident. That is respect. First visit. Tomatoes and egg over thick noodles, plus the garlic cucumbers. Tomatoes and egg is one of those dishes that sounds like nothing and, when done right, tastes like home even if it is not your home. Here it came out hot, properly seasoned, the eggs soft, the tomatoes rich and savory, soaking into those satisfying, chewy noodles. Comfort food without the self pity. The cucumbers were crisp and fresh, nicely dressed, though I would not have minded a heavier garlic punch. I like my garlic to speak up, not whisper. Second round, different mood, freezing day, the kind that makes you question your life choices. Spicy beef with thin noodles. This is the bowl you want when the wind is trying to cut through your coat. Piping hot broth, tender cubes of beef, real depth of flavor, the kind that tells you someone in the kitchen actually cares. Not fancy. Not precious. Just honest, warming food that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Let us be clear. This is not white tablecloth dining. It is fast casual, order at the counter, grab a seat, get on with it. But that is part of the charm. Instead of another forgettable burger or greasy fried chicken, you get something with backbone, history, and flavor that actually means something. Four stars. I came back once. I will come back again. That is the only rating system that really counts.

Got the QiShan dry noodle with hand ripped thick noodles and the pork crispy burger. Food was great and the price was cheap. Also tried the lamb cumin burger and the cumin flavor is very strong.
