Food here is ALWAYS hot and fresh. Friendly service over the phone. Love their selection of soups, particularly the hot and sour and wonton. Food is delicious and their pricing is fair.

I have been dining at China Chef for years, and it is hands down the most consistent when it comes to quality, great-tasting cuisine, friendly and welcoming service, and reasonable prices. Kit and his team truly make you feel welcomed and appreciated. A 5-star hometown establishment! Thank you for being you.

I ordered for pickup shortly before close recently and got distracted and forgot to get my food that night. Called tonight to order the same thing and asked to be double charged to make up for my mistake. Manager wouldn't charge me any extra and hooked me up with a soup that technically doesn't come with the to go order. All the staff are awesome as well as the food.

Drove from Fallon to Fernley to try this place after seeing four stars on Yelp. Long behold it was worth the drive to a point where I took an order to go to enjoy next day. Place needs some update, simple corner place and nice small town atmosphere. Food amazing from the taste, texture and smell for me a must. I tried Chicken curry and to go I took the three beef, chicken and shrimp. Huge portions for one person with steamed white rice. Price is crazy cheap compared to fast food like Panda Express which you can’t eat very next day. Two full meals for $23. Will come back again for sure when in town.

They delivered to the PILOT TRUCK STOP down the road. The food was good, service on the phone was pleasant, and the delivery was prompt. Will DEFINITELY be ordering from here.

11/2025 Quick bite for lunch the other week (late post) — I was craving that chicken salad. It’s so simple, yet honestly one of the best I’ve had, whether compared to casual dining spots or even Chinese restaurants. Always hits the mark! We also enjoyed the teriyaki beef sticks / skewers and BBQ pork appetizer ! They also have great lunch specials ! Great service by April and Kit ! 7/17/25 Another good lunch special visit that comes with delicious egg drop soup, egg roll and wonton crisp. - I had a craving for my favorite Crispy Szechuan Beef . We also enjoyed their sesame chicken lunch special and BBQ pork appetizer. They have a variety of beverages - tea, soda, a couple choices of beer and wine. I was at speedco today and suddenly got a taste for chinese food,,but due to me being a truck driver,,I wasn't familiar with this area...However,,I decided to google chinese food near me,,hoping to find a place that had their own delivery drivers,,and I saw China Chef and gave them a call...Not only did they have their own delivery drivers,,but they also had some of the best chinese food that ive ever had...Also,,the lady that delivered my food greeted me with a warm smile,,in which I sincerely appreciated her kindness...Thank u China Chef,,u have gained a customer for life...

The lunch especially are the best. They are very economical $ and very food. Order before 3pm. The owner is really nice . Known him for years.
