China Garden Inn Restaurant

I was in town for work and looking for a place to eat. While looking I came across China Garden Inn. Now from the outside it looks like a basic plan Chinese restaurant, but when you go inside wow. The staff is friendly and great you right away. The decor is amazing and your can't miss the giant fish tank in the middle of the restaurant. Now onto the food. I order steamed dumplings, beef with broccoli, which also came with choice of soup, fried rice and egg roll. All the food came out hot and flavorful. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant and enjoy something else off the menu.

I am honestly shocked to read some of these recent negative reviews. My experience has been nothing but very pleasant here and even with two young children in tow the staff has been very hospitable. The food is very flavorful and larger portion sizes than normal, which leaves room for leftovers. My wife loves the shrimp with broccoli and I like the chicken with garlic sauce extra spicy. The hot and sour soup is tasty and the pork fried rice has nice chunks of meat. For the suburbs of Philly and not able to get the Chinatown experience, this is as close as it gets. The ambiance is what you expect from a classic, no frills Chinese food joint with the aquarium included. I personally love this place and have gone back several times with never a complaint.

I have been going to China Garden for over 30 years. Their recipes are fantastic and they have, hands down, the best hot & sour soup of anywhere I have traveled to.

I've been coming to this Chinese restaurant for years. I drive out of my way to go to it, as there are plenty of Chinese restaurants closer to me, but I prefer this restaurant as the quality is very consistent. Both the wonton and egg drop soups are always excellent as are the egg rolls. Had plenty of sushi before and it's done quite well. My favorite is the shrimp with lobster sauce, which I get almost every time. Chicken with broccoli or snow peas (get the brown sauce) and roast pork lo mein are always perfect. Enjoy!

Absolutely amazing! This Chinese-Japanese restaurant never disappoints. The food is fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. Every dish—whether Chinese or Japanese—is prepared with great care. The service is friendly, the portions are generous, and the environment is clean and comfortable. I’ve already recommended this place to my friends. Highly recommended

Total Amazing Surprise! The food was great. Service is top notch especially with Jimmy our server. I love the Chinese decor and atmosphere. We went out for lunch special and the prices were very affordable. We've been in this area for a while. It's only now that we saw it. It's so tucked in a strip mall. Just look for the Staple's location. Definitely will come again. Highly recommend.

I don't believe that I have ever had Chinese food taste as delicious as I had in this restaurant. We were supposed to eat at another establishment in the same shopping center where this one is, but of course it was 1 hour and 45 minute wait. Thank God because we strolled into China Garden Inn and for a few weeks now I have wanted even more because it was soooo delicious. Thinking about it right now my mouth is completely watering from the thought of more of their food. Thank you for your hospitality, clean restaurant and wonderful service. I'll be back sooner than later for sure!!

Dine in open again finally! Best Chinese food hands down but only dine in. Take out is just bland. Almost like they cook different for take out. But inside they always have fresh fried noodles and tea ready. The service is very polite and extremely fast. Everything is so good and fresh, I never understand how they get it out so fast. Fried rice is perfect and flavorful. Sesame chicken is well cooked and they use real chicken. Boneless spare ribs are out of this world. Love the kids sweet and sour chicken too. We love how it still has that old school Chinese food spot feel with the dragons all around and gold plated designs on the walls and ceiling. Wish we were closer but still worth the drive.
